I would throw a party.

Yes, I'm 100% serious, no one would dare rob my home for a long time after that.

I would kill to protect my children, yes I think I would feel bad about it. I would try as hard as I could to not kill, I would try to make it impossible for someone to hurt my kids, I would only kill as a last resort. If I would not kill a burglar unless I thought the burglar was going to harm my children. If I was able to stop the burglar and while the burglar was in jail, I would try to teach him/her. So they would never want to do this again.Teach them love, so they can be happy and not a danger to others.

Here in New Orleans, the burglars are armed and dangerous, and likely to kill you if you happen to be home when they break in. It's a matter of kill or be killed. Yes, I could easily live with myself if I killed a burglar. It would be for the good of society and for my own self-defense.

I sure could, if the alternative was death or harm to me or my loved ones. If someone invades my home with the intent to do me harm, I have the right to defend myself in whatever way necessary, including unloading the shotgun on them if I have to. I don't believe in guilt. I believe in taking care of business.

I think it would be hard but in the long run I could live with it. I would make sure I saw a good counselor to help me deal with the issues that it would bring up.

Hello,

Well it all depends, if this person was in my home unauthorized, and they tried to hurt me, I really don't think that I would feel guilt about it, unless I knew I could have avoided killing the person.

As a Buddhist, what is best is to try to turn the person from their harmful activity with compassion, and as little force as is necessary.

I would not have to kill him. He would have to deal with my dogs first and would probably kill himself trying to jump over the fence.

Of course. In fact I'd be happy that I was able to defend my family successfully.
