what is a zucini or a quesonart? ....zucchini is a vegetable. Rather bland, it's good breaded and fried or baked into a zucchini bread. A Cuisinart is a food processor. It slices, dices and grates, making kitchen prep easier.

does your shopping usually come in paper bags?...most people use plastic bags. They tear easily and allow your groceries to go rolling down the street while you chase after them with your arms full.

I celebrate St. Paddy's day because I'm Irish and that's the only excuse I need for a party.

I will try to answer, the lingo is a bit different.

Ring pull cans - do you mean mean aluminum cans with a pull-off top, meaning you do not need a can opener? Some cans are pull-off some are not.

A4 paper? I believe this is a size of paper. The standard here is 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches. Only the American still use English measurements.

My home does. Some do not.

An American bum is an indigent person. An English bum is the part of the anatomy where the sun don't shine.

A zucchini is a vegetable. A Cuisinart is commonly known as a food processor here, a small kitchen appliance.

Groceries can either be put in paper of plastic bags. unscientific observation (my eyes) says that plastic is more common.

Don Imus used to be a radio host. He used some terms offensive to African-American and women to describe the Rutgers University women's basketball team.

St Patrick's day is celebrated here in this country because there are a large number of Irish catholics in the US.

We have Ring pull tin cans where there are soups and things like vienna suasages, canned beans, snack foods, etc.

I have no idea what A4 paper is.

I don't have one at the place I am living at right now, but I used to have one in the last apartment that i lived in. That thing was a pain in the rear when a spoon went down the drain.

In the US, a bum is a homeless, jobless vagrant. In the UK, a bum is the buttocks.

A zucchini is a type of squash, and though I know it is a word, not even dictionary.com has the definition for quesinart.

My groceries usually get bagged in plastic bags. Not many grocery stores keep paper bags around here any more.

Imus made a referrence to the women's championship game where he compared the two teams to teams in a Spike Lee movie called the "Jiggaboo's" and "Nappy-Headed Ho's", both of which are strongly worded racial slurs in this country. Other countries do not have this type of racial tension and protection like we do here. Most people in other countries have long been past the black-white race war, and it is yet another reason that we are considered a laughingstock in the world.

Ring pull tin cans have just started coming into use in the past couple years here in the U.S. I actually still prefer to use the can opener myself, but unfortunately it's a battle I'm losing.

With the paper, not that I know of.

Zucchini is a vegetable which is a type of squash. It's similar to a cucumber in appearance, but has a very different taste and is slightly different in texture. You spelled the other word the way we pronounce the word "Cuisinart," which is a brand of kitchen appliances, such as mixers, dishwashers, blenders, etc.

Grocery stores and hardware stores often use paper bags, but that's it. In a grocery store, you usually have a choice between paper or plastic bags, and if you're shopping for anything other than food or hardware, it's always plastic.

I know something about Imus calling certain black women "hoes," but I haven't actually heard the quote, just the news stories about it. That's all I can tell you on that.

I don't know about everyone else, but I just celebrate St. Paddy's Day for fun, although I don't drink much. I like to wear green though. I think that's generally the idea...it's fun for people to drink and/or wear green. :-)

No, we do not have A4 paper, our standard paper sizes are measured in inches: 8.5 by 11 (standard) or 8.5 by 14 (legal size) are the two most common.
