How do I get a desktop Icon on my quicklist thing at the bottom? windows xp. Some how I think somone deleted it by mistake and I can't get it back. It's driving me nuts

If the Show Desktop icon is deleted from Quick Launch, the procedure below will recreate the file.
Open Notepad and enter the following text:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
Save the new file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop the icon on the Quick Launch bar or whatever location you want the shortcut to appear.

Right click My Computer and hold. Drag to quick lauch and release. Choose Create Shortcut Here.
Same is true for an program you would like in quick launch, drag and drop

you should find that software, it would be located in c:\Program Files, after locating that file right click and send to shortcut..
