A week? Yes. And he's stupid for thinking you'd fall for that. A month? Maybe not. I told my then girlfriend I loved her after a month and now 3 years later, we're married. We never even had sex before we got married. So pay attention to what he does, are you his friend? Does he consider you so? What does he sacrifice for you? He may be sincere.

Look the reason I hate posting questions on this web site is because you get strangers that know little to nothing about your situation and they give you an uneducated assumption about your situation. Most of them just want points anyway!
My advice is legit don't buy into the stereotype that all guys try getting in your pants, thats not a good approach. For me if I tell a girl I love her I mean it from the heart. A lot can happen in a months time. Love has no time limit. Have you ever heard of love at first sight! I believe it.

That's all we want. Guys can say whatever they want to say but the reality is, all we want is to get in your pants. Sure, some guys actually have a mental or emotional attachment to the woman they are after, but ultimately.... all we want is SEX.
It's difficult for some women to understand this, but once you realize that it is what it is, you'll be a little more relaxed around the man you're interested in.
It's one of the reasons I've always been attracted to women a little older than me. They understand, they know what's up. They either feel the same way or don't. If they don't, that's cool, we just move on to one that is.
And that my friends... that is the bottom line!

Well it all depends on the type guy. I feel in love with my ole' lady at first sight and we have been together for a year and a half. I am planning on proposing to her in about a month after I return from my deployment. I truely love her though so like I said I guess it depends on the type guy.

Not neccasarily what if he has already been in her pants and he thinks that. What it means is that he feels really attracted to you thats all everything else is up to you

depends on how old he is and how mature ---- while im not that mature i am old and no if i tell a lady i love her then i love her for who she is not because i want sex with her ---- this i know for a fact --- i love my lady dearly and she may never want sex with me --- it does not change how i feel nor does it mean i want someone else --- and im not THAT old that sex is meaningless if anything it is more meaningful
