Anyone else get ripped off by tinybed.com or tinybeds.com?
We ordered a bed two weeks ago, it still hasn't been shipped. We called, they said 3-4 MORE WEEKS! Should we cancel and find another one?

I wouldn't care, except when we bought it said that it would ship in three-four days. Then suddenly, it was "back ordered"...why do people sell things they don't actually have?!
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and could've been using this time to look for another bed!

Babies R Us only have bassinets and pack'n'plays...the cosleeper they have is a Mini. This is a universal size, which will fit our European sized bed.

It depends. Maybe the bed was back ordered. There may be a fee to cancel your order. If it was truly a scam or rip off you wont get your money back if you cancel the order. I say just wait it out a few more weeks if you can. Contact the Better Buisness Bureau if you don't receive your bed. Good Luck.

Well, I checked this site because I had never heard of it before. A lot of the items do say free shipping, so if that's the case you won't get expedited shipping hence the delay. It doesn't say on the website whether these items are custom made, maybe that would explain the delay? These items are rather costly and even if they, weren't the customer should be informed of the status. I am sure as a soon to be parent you are anxious, so if it's worth the wait to you hold out. If not, you can go to Babies R Us or some other store and have your item right then and there. Best of Luck!

i highly doubt you were scamed.
sometimes companies may think they have more in stock then they actually do, or maybe a lot of people ordered the same one you did at the same time causing a back order.
a scam would be if they collected your money, it never arrived and you call and there is a disconnected phone number.
that has happened to me with something not related to baby stuff, but that was definitly a scam. the better business bereu couldnt find the company i ordered from. i was definitly scamed in that situation.

in yours, its just as simple as waiting for the company to get more in stock.
if they never do, or it never arrives then id cancel my order.

I don;t believe it is a case of being ripped of, it's probably just that they do not have the bed in stock. If you need the bed sooner then cancel the order and find another one.
