and cloning others, trying to cause trouble?
If you don't like an answer choose another.
What goes around comes around, I think these folks better remember that.

First of all, there are alot of people on here who take Y!A much too seriously ... and unfortunately, most of them are incredibly immature and naive. I guess that we get used to living in our own little bubbles -- our families and friends usually share our ideas about religion, and there is no reason to ever question it, and certainly no one would ever look down on us for it.

Spending one day on R&S is the quickest way to burst that bubble. Some people can't handle it. Some people's FAITH can't handle it. So they respond by doing the things that you listed above -- and instead of making any real point as to the validity of their arguments, they only serve to fuel hatred in a place which is meant to be entertaining.

My opinion: if you're not a good swimmer, get out of the water. Because I can guarantee you won't find a lifeguard in this section to save you! Not that there aren't tons of nice people here -- but no one is going to let up on you just because your feelings have been bruised.

You know, I can't remember the last time I reported someone. I know how much I'd hate to lose my account so why do that to someone else? By the way, I have a clone here - didn't even bother to report her. She simply disappeared due to lack of attention :P

I think cloning is the lowest form one can go. I can handle being reported but, I would have a hard time knowing I was cloned.

I just got a Violation Notice this morning on an answer that supported Pangel. The answer itself was completely innocuous. . .someone who hates her obviously took offense at the idea that I was supporting her. The reportbot took it from there, and voila, instant Violation Notice.

I think anyone who files a false report because they hate a person or a particular religion is a coward. They have no honor, no self-respect, and no sense of shame.

And if this answer is deleted because someone can't handle the truth, too bad. I'll cheerfully lose the points just for the privilege of telling the cowardly gits what I think of them.

I don't know how to tell who is a 'clone' and who isn't....

I KNOW that there will always be people who are compelled to test and/or break the rules....If something is posted that does that, I will not hesitate to report it...and write in the comments section..."obscene" "sacrilege" "silly" "not a question, a chance to mock"..etc.

And we all need to do this..I've only been here a month..and it has cleaned up considerably...Apparenently, people were just 'condoning' rude, sacriligeous, mocking and silly questions; thus, abusing and corrupting the forum.

Those who clone and report just to get people kicked off are terribly insecure in themselves (and likely their own beliefs) and have WAY too much time on their hands.

the people who keep reporting others over nothing need an auto-ban, IMO. But Yahoo mods are too lazy to do that.

Some people report anyone who disagrees with them. Most don't however. Yahoo plays along. We are hoping they will start monitoring the number of reports from any one specific person.

I got reported just for writing: there is no god. Nothing more; nothing less. Whoever reported me should be reported.
