I think you should wait a while and if you are still in love, it will mean more. So many people I know give it away in high school to someone they no longer even like and when they finally do find THE one they don't have their virginity to give to the special one. You need to realize this guy just might want the sex and not you.

If you truly love this guy and he loves you, the hurting part is not a very signifcant thing. It will be uncomfortible but if you and he take your time and he is gentle with you it will be fine. I suggest going to a Family Planning or something of that nature to get a pap test and Birthcontrol first. You should protect your self, don't just rely on him. The only safe sex is no sex but if you are going to have it, be safe now not sorry later. One other thing you can always talk to someone in the Family Planning office and see what they say about what you might expect from your first time. Good luck! Be Safe! Be happy.

My first question to YOU is how old are you? I don't want to sound like an over-bearing mom but you don't want to have regrets about this!
The first time can be awesome or it can be miserable or in between. It depends on the guy, how 'urgent' he is to do it, his size really matters too, whether the lubrication is enough, etc., etc. You may bleed. Make sure he takes his time, allow you to stretch.
You know, you don't have to actually have sex to enjoy one another. Playing and exploring one another can be just as pleasant if not MORE so.

Everyone is different. Mine didnt hurt, but than again I had a guy that apparently knew what he was doing and took his time and stuff. If you are only 16 though, I hope that you would wait. Down the road you will regret that you didnt. Need to wait for the man you marry, its better that way.

whatever you choose please use protection at all times --- it can hurt (i know i know what does a guy know) my ex wife and i checked out all the literature for when our children became sexually active and the answer is --- it depends --- on so many factors

i dont normally give a negative opinion --- i would suggest in this case to wait --- if he truly loves you then he will wait forever --- sex is something long term -- it gets better and better as you become more experienced and even better with the same partner

the first time will be disappointing so you need a long term relationship to get the best results

first off sre you ready for this and if so think it over again you cant get that back ever! make things be speacial! it can hurt and it can also not hurt at all you never know for sure. some girls bleed some do not. there are to many factors to consider when answering this question and the fact that you even came here to ask shows a lil bit of uncertainty if your mentally ready for this next step in a relation ship... my advice wait hun you owe yourself thatif a guy suggests it to you and your unsure of things your not ready. when you suggest it and feel right about everything your body mind and spirit and in sync and your ready for that step in life. theres no pressure to do things unless you let someone pressure you,

be sure thats what you want to do and that things are what yu want them to be,,,, you can never NEVER get that back and you'd be surprised how often you might wish for that afterwards:/

think this thru 1st

It may hurt a little. I've heard from some of my friends that it hurt them tremendously..and then others said it didn't hurt a bit. As masculine as this sounds, it depends on how 'tight' you are. Of course, you're not used to having something of that nature in there, unless you use tampons. They have been known to tear the hymen on occasion for some women.

All I ask is that you USE protection. If this guy loves you like you say he does...then he'll want to take care of you in every way during your relationship.

Some say it does, for me it didn't. But for you, I'm telling you to wait until you find "real" love. I'm not saying you two don't love eachother, but it's not the same as it will be when you get older. And trust me when I say this, 1) sex is highly overrated, 2) he'll wait for you if he truly loves you, and 3) you'll be happier staying a virgin than regret it 10 years down the road.

No matter how gentle it hurts.

However i have an advice. Better wait when the knots are tied before you engage, as the emotional part and regret might hurt more than what is physical if you dive in it very soon just because of what you think is love but just infatuation.

with sex comes a lot of responsibilities so make sure u r ready there are plenty of other things u can do instead of sex like play cards .... anyway the actual penetration is not that painful but dont go rushing off to have sex try to wait a lil longer and if he really loves u he will wait with u
