First the Don Imus case, because he called a team of girls hoes and he was fired people, said its because of hip hop music, pop and rock music called people hoes and bitches too.Now the Cho Seung case i go on youtube and there is some idiot pointin a finger at 50 cent, like hip hop is the worste force in the world
if life was always good hip hop would be always good because its a reflection but if u hold a teddy bear in your hand and look in a mirror u cant exspect to see a living cat.I get pissed reading stuff like that.Dont get me wrong i blame no music form because therefore i would have to blame all the violent videos games and movies which 95% of the world enjoys, including myself.i just think the media is trying to murder hip hop because it is where black men and women make somethin out of themselves, and some white ppl who understand the life also,I just want your opinions on this matter

Because people are stupid enough to think that music alone can influence kids to go try to sell cocaine. Why arent the movies blamed when everyone knows a visual has more impact on people than anything. They are basically giving the kids the ideas of how to do it in movies. Idiots will be idiots because music is not worse today than it was back when 2 Live Crew and NWA were out doing their thing in the late 80's early 90's. Taylor came from a bad part of a city, so do millions of others who listen to the same music. I graduated from college and still listen to hip hop and rap. Taylor never defined who he was through music he did that on the field. So who cares what he listened to.. it has no bearing on his life. Aquaintances and friends, old and new play a bigger part in someones life than songs on the radio. I was wondering if anyone else noticed how music became the scapegoat amidst the Don Imus situation. Our own Black politicians and major figures who fell into that trap like Al Sharpton and even Oprah who i just knew was brighter than that. They let him slide for his own personal feelings and views and attacked their own people. They might as well have not even said anything because Imus is back on radio now.... Protesting and complaining did nothing if your not gonna stick to your guns and say nothing when he goes back on radio. Everyone blames someone other than themselves for everything nowadays.

I don't blame everything on h-h. I blame most things on the fact that half the population is below average intelligence. H-h is designed to sell to them. Ask black women what they think of being called whores and bitches. Not all that impressed, I'd guess.

H-h comes from a particularly narrow and stupid view of the world and is designed to sell to a bunch of dumb teenagers. Immature boys, mostly. Well, anyway, teenagers suck most of the time.

95% of the world does not particularly enjoy violent video games and movies, 50% of the world is female for a start, and few women and girls are actually impressed by such garbage.

If you got your head out of the computer games shop and looked around you might find that a pretty fair proportion of the population of both sexes and most ages sneer at such material.

in our society today, everyone has to put the blame on somebody else or blame somebody for something bad, its natural and sometimes there is not a clear person to blame, so they either blame it on bush or hip hop.

now the don imus case is different, in that case there were 2 reasons people were attacking hip hop.
1. Ignorant idiots who dont like hip hop just wanted an excuse to attack hip hop and say **** about it.
2. A lot of people feel that certain races can say things while others cant, this is mostly common amongst white people. For example their argument was that Don Imus got fierd for saying it, when rappers dont get dropped from record labels for saying it. Now at first look its a reasonable argument, but after RESEARCH or someone who been wit hip hop since 2 Live Crew and N.W.A days its an idiotic excuse.

Heres why Don Imus got fired, he said something controversial about black WOMEN, you dont say **** about women or you end up on the cross, Al and Jesse saw this as an oppertunity to put him on the cross, hit him with a low blow and made BAD PUBLICITY, now Don Imus's bosses do not want BAD PUBLICITY associated with them so they fired him. He chose to say it, yes there is free speech and this shouldnt have happen to him, but hes a grown man no one forced him to say it or "peer pressured him", and the excuse well they say it on tv is pitiful, last time bob checked kids under 10 year old copy the bad words they hear on tv and say it.

Heres why rappers dont get dropped from record labels, just like Don Imus, when rappers say hoes and bitches they also create bad publicity and people like all the people blaming hip hop for everything attack it and try to get damage done, however record labels DONT CARE ABOUT BAD PUBLICITY, thats why they dont get dropped.

Now heres what really happens to rappers for saying this things
Back in the day the state of florida made 2 Live Crew's album As Nasty As They Want to Be illegal, yes illegal like how coc and meth are illegal, record stores were being prosecuted for selling the record and 2 Live Crew was arrested at a club for perfroming a song from the album.

N.W.A was arrested on stage for performing "F'uck The Police" on stage.
100 Miles and Runnin was pulled off store shelves and places were refusing to sell them, police were refusing to provide security at concerts, which is part of their pay.

C Delores Tucker made it her mission to end 2pac's career for using the words Hoes and Bitches in his songs.

GLADD wanted eminem's head and boycotted the Grammy's. Politicians and women activista also wnat eminems head

Koreans and politicians attacked and called Ice Cube a racist.

Idiots on Yahoo ask a million questions saying why does nothing happen to rappers when they say hoes and bitches, when don imus gets fired, when its obvious they never did any research and are talking through their assholes.

Bob could go on but there isnt enough room for all the times rappers werea ttacked by women, politicians, preachers, blacks, whites, koreans, werewolves, gays, yahoo answers, black women, muslims, jews, christians and everybody else under the sun.

I don't listen to hip hop, I can't stand it. I blame everything on Little Lying Johnny - I try not to listen to him either but he can't be avoided sometimes. At least he doesn't call women "whores" - which is what "ho" means if you didn't know.
