Here is what I have learned from a very painful love experience. I have been fooled emotionally by a guy who is emotionally unavailable, so he felt no consequences of his actions and was unable to take responsibility for anything. If I am correct, there are ALWAYS SIGNS that someone doesn't feel the same way back and is just using you for this or that reason to make themselves feel better. Usually it's something that is stronger than your conscience, but it's NOT an EXCUSE! So after receiving many of these signs, you confront them about it and they deny and promise eternal love. You believe because love is blind. But it NEVER works out! So next time, you should be strong and walk away at the first sign of your partner being untruthfull. Actually I am so grateful this guy happened to me, because I would've never realized that YES, the world is corrupted and people, besides your own family and best friends, are...

I understand what you are saying, and yes it has happened to me more than once or twice. Please understand that some times what you feel inside just dies by itself. Love is sort of like a disease, you catch it, then one day you get over it, and wonder where you are. Sweetie- don't know what to call you- not everyone that has this to happen are corrupt or mean. It just happens to the best of us at times. You asked how it has changed me. Well, I have learned to accept the fact that not everyone is going to love you, and not everyone is going to love you the way you love them, so I just take it easier, and don't let my feelings run away with me. I hold back and see what is going to happen. Some of my friends just need me for some company and support , not for a total emotional experience. I learn to give love completely, and not be hurt when it is not returned. Some day you will connect with someone who will always give you back more than what you give. Then you got something my dear. Good luck and don't feel too badly. I have loved 8 times in my life, and I have just now found the perfect love, yep now that I am too damn old to do anything about it. G

More than once sweetie and it doesn't get easier but it doses get harder to trust I think that if I get my hart broke one more time it might kill me so I guess I will go through life with my guard always up and never really expect any thing different.
