If Cho Seung- Hui had accepted Jesus, the massacre would never have happened.
"This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous. Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him." (I John 3:10-15)
Where did you come up with such absurd notions about the nature of Christianity?

Oposision of ideas is One thing. Everyone has the right to believe as they wish - and, I would give my very own life to make sure that you have 'That' right.
As far as Cho - in his video's and writing's claiming to be "Like That of Jesus" and the infideal's. Yelling and blaiming EVERYONE - that does not sound Christian to me. The writing's that he susposidly wrote - the play - NO That's NOT 'Christian' according to what I have learned to be a 'Christian'. Jesus taught his to love his neighbot as he loved us. Cho was not claiming that - the oposite! It too bad that Someone was not able to help when he was alive - before he killed and murdered 33 people and injured 17 more. No, to me - according to what I read in the Bible - 'That' Act Was/Is NOT 'Christian.' It's up to God now - After all his final 'Act' to 'Kill' himself - 'That' IS NOT CHRISTIAN!
As far as the war in Iraq - Of course people are going to say what they want to -- well, now is my turn.
I know that a lot people will suffer as the result! We needed to got there - the 'Terrorist' did not come there because of 'US' - they came because of the 'Timing' of 911, Osama Bin Ladan and his direct involvemen with it! His 'Position' in Al Qada! Osama believes that he is Mohamad who has returned to take the World. His 'Sucess'! Our Day of SADNESS 9-11 (I lost a brother in South Tower)!!! They would have been 'HERE' on our soil - if we did not go there. Sadam had a deal with Osama - I wish the Leader's of this Nation would bring 'That' out! They wanted/want to destroy America and our Ideal's.
We are now fighting a war like no other ever before - except for one thing - The Oldest Fight in History - Issac and Esau! That is what the whole ware is about! They 'Arribs' want the LAND!!!!! It all goes back to Abraham in the Bible! It's the same fight - just the way they fight is the Huge Threat - not only to the Middle - East - but, The Whole World! This is far more serious that most see it!
I do not believe that Many People see just how Dangerous Al Qada REALLY IS! There is a Difference! Osama is Suni! The Sheitts are the other Muslim - They disagree on the Religion Itself of being Muslim. That's what the devision is all about!!!
They only use a 'Part' of a verse from the Quoran. It's the Same type of problem that can happen in the Christian Faith when someone only takes a 'Part' of a verse.
Something - maybe for you to 'think' about.
Take Care and God Bless!

"Accepting Jesus as Savior" is not the only prerequisite for salvation. Modern evangelism and Christianity may tell you so, but its unbiblical and untrue. We must accept Jesus as both Savior and LORD.
How can you call someone LORD and say that you believe in Him will all your heart if you don't obey? Jesus says that if you love Him, you will obey Him.
Obviously, something like what Cho did is not loving. It is not Christlike. It is not obedient to God. Someone who is a true believer will have fruit in their life which is cultivated by the Spirit. Cho's actions certainly don't demonstrate those fruits (kindness, gentleness, et al.).
Saying a quick prayer is not the way to salvation.

Umm, no, he will not be saved. I think that man has put his view of forgiveness too lenient. How could someone honestly go out and kill people out of cold blood, then expect to be let into the afterlife with a clean soul. He even claimed that the columbine killers were martyrs, claiming himself to be a martyr as well. That is against the number one commandment right there, thou shalt not idolize any god other then me, or something of the sort.
But the fact still remains that he killed thirty two people, he cannot be saved. There is a heaven and a hell for a reason, he choose his path and his soul will reap the consequences.

There was more than one question in there, I think.
Yes, a person that accepts Jesus as their Savior is "saved" no matter what happens before or after that point in their lives.
The good and bad deeds you commit have nothing to do with your relationship with God. We are imperfect beings "For ALL l have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God". God hates sins - he loves sinners; yes - it's that simple. No one of us is better or worse in the eyes of God - he's willing to accept any of us that accept him. That's called "grace" - he will forgive even the worst deeds. Now, about those that help others - they will receive much rewards in heaven - if they have accepted the gift of forgiveness and eternal life. You and I have no idea what God has gone through watching his creation turn away from him - I will not presume to understand what if Fair in the spiritual sense.

There is nothing to reconcile. Cho Seung-Hui was obviously in serious mental and emotional trouble when he did what he did. That kind of imbalance eclipses all other factors -- including one's religious background.
Where his soul is right now or how it was judged by God is not something that the human race is privileged to know. And rightly so because we don't have the impartiality or understanding to be balance justice with mercy, as God can.

Your question is utterly ridiculous. He mocked Christianity. I highly doubt doing the will of Jesus was in his mind.
But I also see that you do not consider yourself to be a sinner. You seem to think that by virtue of not shooting up a school, you're a good person. Sorry, sista, but God doesn't grade on the curve. One sin or one million - either keeps us from Him unless we are reconciled through Christ.

I don't have any special knowledge about this, but I would speculate that "accepting Jesus" means agreeing with his message, not just writing his name down as a reference on your spiritual resume. I don't think anybody who agreed in principle with Jesus' message would think shooting a bunch of random strangers in cold blood is a good idea.

God would be the judge of that. However his writings, behavior, actions do not bear him out as a Christian, as far as I can see.
you see pal, not only does it take believing in Christ, it takes following him as well. You mention only believing in Christ, yet the Bible shows examples of devils who believed in Christ, and who said why are you hear to punish us before the time? Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior is more than just believing, it is following as well.
