I think he should go to XM, even though there is a merger between the two copies there still will be seperation and at least at XM he will be away from Stern who hates him and bad mouths any opposing host who is doing good. At XM he will also be on the same side as Opie and Anthony who are friends and supporters of his. XM is a much better move for Imus.

Possibly; however, he was just four months into a brand new contract with WFAN, they're still paying him, he was their franchise. When WFAN bought WNBC, Imus came with the deal. WFAN was America's first all sports format radio station, they built their empire on his back, and without him, they only have Mike Francesa & Chris Russo (Mike & the Mad Dog) their ad revenue is cut in half. Right now, Mike & Chris are in Imus' slot, they take a break at 10, and come back in their normal 'drive time' slot. If something isn't worked out soon, both will walk, there is a worthy all sports competitor in this market now, dangling mouth watering offers every now and then. If Mike & Chris walk, the FAN is no more. I do not believe Imus is finished with CBS Radio, not for a millisecond; they owe him too much.

Nope, Sirius is a competitor. Also, it is not a good mix with Howard Stern. BUt I believe he could or should be in Satellite Radio to avoid FCC scrutiny on his style of broadcasting. Too bad, Stern is already the first one up there.

Yes... that seems to be the patch for all radio jocks that screw up bad enough to get fired from regular radio... =) He'll probably be accepted and cheered by everyone in the satellite when he does!

My guess is Sirius
But they're trying to merge the two, so someday it'll all be the same.

Would be nice if everyone who is so vulgar in their speech would just retire. I think, you are correct and I assume it will be satelite.

YES. I am surprised they haven't hired him already.
It will just boost their ratings. People will want him to talk about more people.
