I believe most souls cross over to be with God and no idiotic religion has anything at all to do with it.

Short Answer: Worm food

Long Answer: I believe that death itself gives life meaning. I know, the though of just ceasing to be gives most people the willies due to the instinct for survival but just because it is uncomfortable does not make it fact. You want immortality? Live a life such that when you are gone your memory lives on in the minds of those whose lives you touched.

I feel happy that they lived a full and good life. If they did, that is. If they didn't, I'm sad they wasted what was probably the only chance that they'll get, since I don't see any reason to believe that just because it would be nice if we all went to a beautiful place full of people we love means there's any chance it will happen.

Death is the end. Everything that begins must end, and everything that lives must die. Its the cycle of life and is natural and normal.

I'm not afraid of it. I have no reason to be. Remember, usually when a person dies, its after alot of suffering. They aren't in pain anymore.

my concept of afterlife is simple.

dead is dead.

there is nothing for the person who died. everything for that person is gone, the person does not have a conscience anymore, the person is no person anymore.

the comfort for the ones that are not dead are the good memories, that can be told on birthdays and funerals. it is like this that i remember some remarkable persons.
