Take a benadryl before you go to sleep. This can be purchased at any drugstore or even walmart for about $3-$4 for 100capsules.This will probaly make you fall asleep fast and you wont be itchy. Also, I dont think you are sopposed to wash your cat. Cats natuarlly keep them selves clean. Possibly if you stopped washing her it would help. Hope this works

I used to have allergies...I was deathly allergic to cats. Guess what? My b/f and I bought a cat! Everywhere his fur touched me, I'd itch. I would sneeze, my throat would swell, my eyes watered, I wheezed etc. I was miserable.
For a month, I took a Benedryl twice per day. (be careful as they sometimes make you sleepy). It seemed like the pill kept my symptoms at bay while my body slowly got used to the cat. After that, I was fine! My body built up a natural immunity. (Here is my disclaimer that my results are not typical!) LOL. It worked for me, though. If you're really attached to the cat, give it a try so you can keep her. :-)

#1: the cat should NOT be allowed to sleep or EVER be in your bedroom. You need to wash everything you can in that room after you banish her.

The problems is not the hair of the cat; it's the danders that get you even more than the hair.

With the cat banned from the room, and the room cleaned as well as you can (including vacuumed), you can see if your symptoms abate. If not, it might not be the cat.

Most likely it is the cat and you have to either control the cat or get rid of the cat.

teh thing you're not allergic to the whole cat, only the cat's skin cells. and since kittys rub themselves against everything, you get your allergies. best thing is to keep your distance, or be on allergy meds
