LineDancer: No, YOU have never sent me a hate email message, but you are mistaken if you think that all JWs are as uniformly perfect as you are. I have received about 6 messages since the beginning of the week, all threatening me with "eternal death" and things of that nature, that I won't "be saved" in Jesus' earthly kingdom if I keep fighting "His people".

I am not a JW, and I do not speak for them.

In general, the message sent is the message received. For the most part your questions are flippant polemics. So you can hardly expect to not receive a response in kind. That is human nature, a nature of us all that is corrupted by sin.

Try asking questions in a sincere and cogent manner and you will receive many similarly formed responses.

When I receive a message I that I view as inappropriate, I try to take one of several actions. I send the person a polite response stating that I don't want anymore messages from them. That usually stops or slows the amount of messages from them. I think there is a place to report such emails, so that the person will be reprimanded and will hopefully stop. Another option I have had to take at times, when I did not want the rude messages, was to remove the message option.

I have received messages from several claiming to be fellow Witnesses who clearly were not. It is annoying but a fact that some people on the net like pretending they are something they are not.

I have received messages from people, who seem to truly be Witnesses, and from those who claim to be of other faiths, and even then at times, I did not appreitiate the message. What I mentioned earlier works rather well.

I am sorry you feel harassed. Hopefully if an actual Witness sent you these messages they are simply letting zeal cloud there judgment, kind of like how Peter chopped the ear off the soldier who came for Jesus. Their heart, hopefully, is in the right place, they are just not actting on their feelings correctly.

I had the same exact problem for a month. Asking them to stop will make them want to send you even more hate email. Do what I did and your hate email will end. What I did:

I asked the same question but, I included the names of the ones who were sending me the hate email. I suggest you choose the add comment and include every name of every person who ever sent you a hate email. This will expose them, make them embarrassed and I guarantee that you will never receive another hate email from anyone ever again. This worked for me. Some might call it mean but, they don't understand how mean others can be when your being sent multiple hate emails from certain people every day. It gets tiresome and it is emotionally draining. Forget that it's mean. Do it. Call them out. Come to think of it, I haven't seen them on Y!A for a few days. Oh well, whatever works. If that's what it takes to get them to leave you alone then, they asked for it. They brought this on themselves. Enough is enough. You don't have to take this abuse. None of us do. You might want to let them know that their hate emails are not Christian at all.

It is unlikely, very unlikely, that it is JWs sending hate mail.

I would report all of this mail to Yahoo.

Or you can check out who it is for yourself.

Do these senders reply to Questions?
If they do - are they consistent with what the JWs teach?

If they do not - then it is some one or so that are pretending.
It is relatively easy to make a up handle and spam.

Eternal death is not typical of something that a JW would use.

Eternal life yes, eternal death no.

I tend to agree with a few of the previous answerers that these were most likely not actual Jehovah's Witnesses.

Forgive me, but you do seem to be developing quite a reputation lately as someone that posts questions designed to disparage Jehovah's Witnesses, our organization, and our beliefs. Not that I personally am offended. To me, this is nothing new. But others may see this and pose a a Witness just to incite more negative feelings toward us.

If any of my comments directed towards you offend you, do not hesitate to let me know.

I'm with lazy time.I'd post the emails. But then I'd block them too. This is my big thing with the Yahoo answers.People just don't know when enough is enough. This is suppose to be a discussion. We are not Judges to anyone but ourselves. And as with anything on the computers you only know what they tell you. They can be telling you anything just to start trouble. You can also turn them into YA and let them take care of it.

Sorry, I have not sent you any hate email, and I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

True, I don't like your questions most of the time, however, I know you have extensive knowledge as regards the Bible and what it teaches - therefore you already know what you are doing and what to look forward to in the future.

But if you do receive more hate mail, I suggest you email them back and ask them to stop since that's not befitting of a true Christian.

Also, I suggest you stop asking questions regarding Jehovah's Witnesses that you already know the answer to, and you are just trying to upset people. And don't spread lies either, or slander.

It seems doubtful that this question involves actual Jehovah's Witnesses. As true Christians, Witnesses regularly remind one another of Christ's explicit teachings...

(Luke 6:27-29) I [Jesus] say to you who are listening, Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you. To him that strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also

Incidentally, Jehovah's Witnesses do not presume to judge anyone. The Scriptures plainly teach that only Jesus and Jehovah make the final judgment regarding each individual.

(John 12:48-49) The word that I [Jesus] have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment

(John 8:16) if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me

(Matthew 12:36) They will render an account concerning it on Judgment Day

(John 5:22,27-30) [The Father] has committed all the judging to the Son... 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out... I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

(Acts 17:30-31) God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. 31 Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus] whom he has appointed

My Wife and I are Jehovah's Witnesses and we have never e mailed you. We are not offended by peoples questions about us. We know people are curious to know how we feel about the early history and our beliefs. We have no problems with honest hearted questions. Jehovah's Witnesses are taught by Jehovah to not only love one another but others. That's what drew me to the truth, the love. So I'm sorry if witnesses have been sending you e mails. But how do you know for sure if they are witnesses? Satan will use any means to mislead people.

Send them back or tell the computer they are spam. Or find the address of the nearest Kindom Hall and forward them there. Let them see what they are preaching is not working.
