I hate to be so tough.. but you need to take things slow if you have reservations about jummping into this relationship. I am the same way as you... and I recently jumped in too fast to a relationship. Now I am paying to consequences. We are not together... only because he could not commit to the serious relationiship. He said he loved me and he wouldn't hurt me.. but it happened. Now I wish we would have taken things slower...eased both of us into this relationship.

So I say... take it slow.

yeah he's right about he wouldn't hurt you because what you don't know won't hurt you......he's so far away you don't even know what he is doing and won't even know if he is cheating....I can tell you are very sensitive...girl you are a woman don't you know you have power (the p u s s y is your power girl.....not saying it in a way of being a whore but without p u s s y men will not survive) so I just don't get how did it take you months to get over your past relationship

going through the same thing with mine, he's had a few girls cheat on him in the past.
1. trust him, trust is the basis of a relationship
2. realize that just because your ex did something to you, doesn't mean every guy will, and espeically not a guy that loves you enough to have a long distance relationship

not meaning this to be rude, but get a grip and get over it... he loves you!!

ever see, robin hood: men in tights? take a lesson from that movie and put a chastity belt on him. that should keep his robin hood away from other maid marians.
