One is made of meat, the other one of silicon and metal. They do the same thing though. They receive input and process it to produce output.

A computer can only do what it has been preprogrammed to do, and eventually it reaches the point where it can no longer be updated. Take an old 1945 computer and see if it can perform the tasks at NASA right now.

A human brain, however, is the same model from 1066 to 2007 (and way before as well as way after). It has the capacity to absorb information infinitely and does not need to be updated (at least not the same way a computer does). Assuming that the person is willing, you could take a 99 year old man from Prague and teach him Mandarin Chinese, advanced calculus, the history of the Vikings, how to operate the newest Nokia phone, etc.

My brain doesn freeze like my computer does. lol, and my brain can learn new stuff on its own, without having to be reprogrammed before hand.

Also, there is the deal that computers need either a load of wires plugged into a wall or a battery, luckily my power does not run out when im away from an electrical power supply.

the brain is organic and much more advanced

only it's not wired as good as it could be. imagine if we took all the best parts of all autistic and idiot savant's brains and made 1 awesome brain that was not a social retard. that would be one smart dude. or a smart chick, but if it was a female she'd be more concerned with shoes than being smart.

Imagination and originality. A good chess player can still always beat the best chess computers, simply by making an original move.

The brain has limitations (as proven by christians) whereas computers are constantly being improved upon. It's only a matter of time before they start using computer technology to enhance the capability of the human brain.

Well. I don't know of too many computers that have an almost unlimited potential to learn. But once they can rewire themselves I'm sure your analogy will be completely accurate.

the computer is made by a human brain so technically the brain is smarter than the computer

Computers don't have hormones running through them leading to emotional responses to issues like deciding to believe in god.

Ask a neurologist. I'm pretty sure they could easily come up with a very long list.
