He did "die like Jesus Christ" (his words, not mine) so will this be a new branch of Christianity or just another good reason to fear people raised by fundamentalist Christians?

Not I. He requires too many innocent sacrifices.

As a recovering Angry White Boy, I can see the motivation behind the VT/Colubine shootings. That does not mean in any way, shape form, or fashion, that I condone them. Having said that, I would like to point out that at that time in my life, I was depressed, I also suffered from a list of disorders that sounded mor like an eye chart. Every day is a constant struggle from letting thoughts of wasting those who don't deserve what they have. Now, to the topic. This seems to me to be somewhat of a hoax. Not because of the "belief in them as a god" but because of their list. The Columbine Boys, IMHO, rewrote the book on this stuff. I will admit, their plan was genius. Had they put their planning into better outlets, they could have changed the world. Cho was...IMHO...a poser. Don't get me wrong, he did take it to the next level, but not because he was a mastermind. VT is a LOT bigger than Columbine, so there are more places to hide, more people to shoot, and more destruction to be wrought. I think, if we sit down and look at this, Cho doesn't hold a candle to the boys of Columbine. Once again, I would like to stress, and make EXPLICT: I DO NOT CONDONE THESE ACTIONS

I hope not.

Though, I think people need to stop bashing the kid. It's like calling a mentally retarded child "stupid" for crossing the street without looking. Even when you know better, sometimes the lines of reality are very, very distorted and blurred. I'm in no way justifying what he did, but people need to realize that he did have mental disorders.

Cho Seung-Hui needed help more than anything, and the only person willing to honestly help him was his roommate. Funny how his roommate was the only one who survived that stood in Cho Seung-Hui's way.

Unfortunately, you are truthfully predicting the future. I think, if I can remember correctly, Cho stated in his video that he liked those Columbine High School killers. Evidently, he worshiped them(my words, not his). So, yes, one day there will be another incident and they might bring up Cho as being a hero.

Jesus never killed anyone or did anything wrong. You must be completely ignorant if you are to compare him with Cho Seung-Hui.

He might be right on what he said but what he did is selfish and wrong. Killing people wont solve anything just make it more complicated. People shouldn't worship this guy, he is no "Jesus Christ", Jesus never kill or sacrifice anyone for is own belief, Jesus gives us freedom to choose to do anything, so it's up to us if we want to follow Jesus or not.

Lol, you know I was thinking that myself. He really made sure his name would be mentioned in many books and shows and that his face would be seen on every channel. He seemed to be a very bright and interesting person. However, his insanity took his life away before he could suceed and see his own sucess in a good way. I don't believe his belief had much to do with what he did.

I sort of admire him, not for what he did, but for the passion he had for everything. You have to be amazed by that sort of passion, why else is everyone so facinated with Hitler, Charles Manson, Jack the Ripper? People love drama and I just happen to be one of them.

Honestly I can't wait to see his poetry printed, I'd love to see what went on in that mind of his.

Cho Seung-Hui is yet another example of the danger of religion.

No. He can say what he wants, but Jesus is worshipped because people believe he is the Son of God. Besides, Jesus preached PEACE... not mass murder.

Well, he seemed to worship the Columbine killers, so I guess anything is possible.
