My Korean girlfriend grew up a Buddhist. Fortunately, I was able to convert her before bringing her over to this country to be my lover.

I'm very tempted to "make her sleepy" with my skills one night, then baptize her while she sleeps in the pure joy of exhaustion.

That way, she wakes up clean, pure, rested and saved.

Maybe I'm just bringing my wife's morals into play. I don't think baptism is a big deal, but my wife is always carrying on and on and on and on about how you need it to meet Jesus in heaven.

Baptism is something that brings a person into the Christian family. Yes, many people baptize infants, but that is because that is how the parents want to bring up their children. When are you talking about an adult, however, you can't just baptize them cuz you want to. That's disrepectful. Parents have a good reason to baptize babies, they have the responsibility to bring up their child. You are not this woman's parents; not only do you not have that responsibility, you don't have the right.

Baptism is very sacred. It must be done with a consent in the one who will be baptized.

Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Acts 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

If you are not a priest, I fail to see how you can baptize someone at all. More than that, for a baptism to take effect, the person must be cognizant of what it is that is symbolically taking place for it to count.

Well.........i may sound a little stupid but i am not sure what you are insinuating.......lemme take a stab at it.......Matthew 28:19 talks about making disciples and baptizing them.........if you are to walk in the path of Jesus you need to imitate as closely as possible......he was baptized in the river Jordan.........................also, it is essential that you make a personal and public declaration of giving up your life and picking up your torture stake to follow Christ..................see here

4 Water baptism is a requirement for all who want to have a relationship with Jehovah God. Baptism publicly indicates your desire to serve God. It shows that you are delighted to do Jehovah’s will. (Psalm 40:7, 8)

Playing fast and loose with salvation, aren't we? And marriage, for that matter. Well, your wife is half correct. In order to meet Jesus in heaven, you must accept Him first, here on earth. Baptism is an outward confession that you have done that, but it doesn't in and of itself save you.

What have you got a girlfriend for when you already have a wife? Quite honestly, I think it's pretty creepy to even think about what you're planning. Never mind your wife's morals - where are yours? I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you.

You can't baptize someone against their will. Do you even know what baptism is all about? It doesn't work the way you propose.

What kind of lowlife scum are you? Not only are you contemplating a truly evil deed, but you apparently have both a wife and a girlfriend. Do they understand what a duplicitous bastard you are?
