The smoothie has porridge oats in it and it is very filling i dont feel starving at all ???

Probably - because you're starving yourself. That sounds like a terrible idea - as soon as you stop the starvation, you'll put on more weight than you had before!

If you want to lose weight, follow a practical, balanced diet that's healthy and you are capable of maintaining. Your doctor can help if needs be.

No weight loss. None at all. When you starve yourself (which you would be doing with that) your body will shut down and hold on to every fat gram and calorie you have stored in your body to protect your vital organs. So you won't lose any weight. And that is almost ALL sugar. So you would be so hungry you'd be sick.
You want to lose weight? Then you HAVE to eat at least 1,200 calories a day. No less or your body goes into that starvation mode. 1,200-1,500 calories a day---depending on how tall you are an how active you are. The more active, the more calories you need.

If you eat once a day, you will lose on weight, no matter what you eat for that single meal, but the thing is that it's not very healthy and not practical in long run. Try eating cereals for breakfast and lunch, smoothie and fresh fruits for snacks and have something cooked for dinner, but not more then one portion.

If that is all you are eating you are not being very healthy. Although fruit is good for you it is important not to eat too much because it is full of sugar.
You need to eat a balanced diet.

OMG, you are not going to eat anything else all day, you will definately loose weight but it is not a very healthy way or sensible way of doing it.

It may do.You are reducing your calorie intake drastically.You may go better step by step.Perhaps reduce the total calorie intake to around 1100 per day.Eat less and avoid sugar and carbohydrates,Some exercise is a must.
