Is this not something that christians want?
Some want to find specific information, some are looking for god, some want to challenge the bible, and others just want to start a flame war.
I think that covers everything.

We are all wanting to know, and how we go about doing it takes on many paths. We find our answers in many places whether Christian or not.
We make religion a contest, which we should not.
"We can only find the truth if we seek it for our self and no matter where or how we create it"
God help us when the questions stop!

Because they want to know more..what is wrong with that? Good for them, if they want to ask a question let them. You don't have to be christian to ask a question about religion.

Some people are curious about religion; some just want to stir up trouble. Besides, there ARE religions besides Christianity, you know.

How dare those non-christians ask about religion?? After all, we all know that only christianity is religion, everything else is just mythology!

religion doesnt always equal christianity, there is Paganism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism etc. and some are here for the spirituality part and not the religious part. I hope i cleared that up.

Because Christianity isn't the only religion, Einstein.
*gulp*
This isn't the "Christianity & Jesus" forum, but the "Religion & Spirituality" Forum... let's be just a little more tolerant towards other faiths, and I'll be a little more tolerant to idiots who ask stupid questions.

Aren't Islam and Judaism and Hinduism religions?
And here's my stock answer for this stock question:
Basically, we non-Christians are not so much concerned about Christianity as we are about the effect that the right-wing fundamentalists are having on the world we live in. They want to teach our children ID, restrict the rights of homosexuals, and make reproductive and end-of-life choices for us... and that makes us very uncomfortable.

Not again. You know this question is asked at least once a day right? There is a search function, please type "Why are Atheists here?" into it.
As for every other religion... there are other religions out there too you know. Yours is not the only one.
