Okay, you have your whole life to accept God right? And even in the last moments of your life, if you accept him, you'll go to heaven. Now, by accept I don't mean accepting there is a God, but accepting him as your savior and all that jazz. So, No, I don't believe that the victims of the VT shooting who were not Christians will go to Heaven. It was a tragic thing, horrible, and those people didn't deserve to die, but they also had a choice, and they didn't make the right one. Now, those of them who were Christians will go to Heaven. And as for Atheists, why would they even want to go to heaven? They spent their whole lives talking about how it and God don't exist.

While I do not necessarily agree with the doctrine you portrayed in your example conversation, I can tell you a big difference in your comparison.
In the first, the victims did not "choose" their fate. Their lives where taken against their will and they cannot be held accountable for their own fate.
On the other hand, and atheist consciously chooses what he/she believes and therefore would be accountable for any consequences from that choice.
However, with all of that said...I believe that God is a merciful God and would give us the lightest possible consequences for our acts and not the other way around (if there is any leeway).

They need to keep it real, even though people are hurting, lying won't help.
Whoever REJECTS Jesus will not go to heaven.Whether they are shot or fall off a cliff.Paul says if they have not had the chance to hear the Gospel ,they are judged on the light they have.
Now ,is it real or is this just a fairy tale when it hits close to home?

Hello Malaysia!! I am a believer in Christ and I would have answered both questions as "that is up to God and the human spirit, alone". No one currently here on earth can make that decision.

Yeah. I always find it funny that they tell us we're going to hell, then say they don't, while telling everyone else "I don't know". And somehow they think that should change our minds about their god. Nice way to convince people you're right, isn't it?
Its amusing.
I think they do it because we tell them they're wrong, usually using good logic to back it up, and they don't like it. In other words, they're acting like children because WE make more sense than they do. Its like a child stamping their foot when you've annoyed them, them being unable to do anything about it, then saying I'm going to tell mummy on you".

It's what some are taught. They believe this to be true. Maybe it is, but I really don't think so. People like to stay inside the box sometimes.

hmmm, i know..its no upto us to decide who dies or who will be born, who goes to heaven and who to hell..i guess, to christians(and most religions), atheism is just unthinkable and it is unforgivable..but,it's their choice, and no matter how bad a person is, his good deeds would never go nuseen and he'll get what he deserves
