I rather keep it real than be phoney. My maturity as a Christian is only to a certain level. I am not going to pretend that I am perfect like Jesus Christ. Sometimes you will find me on these pages ranting about atheists, and other times you will find me expressing love for everyone in the world, but I'm always honest. I can relate to the bum in the street, because I am a bum. I can relate to people in high places, because I am a king. Keeping it real means everyone is not going to be your friend, but one thing they would have to say is he's not fake.

Think of someone who is sitting on the fence, trying to decide what side he is going to be on.
With Jesus it is not enough to just believe, OK?, you need to be willing to die to yourself (take up your cross daily) and follow Him. Even the demons believe and shudder.
If you were leading an army into battle wouldn't you want
100 % allegiance from those you were leading?
We all have a choice here, and those not willing to take that stand and say I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IT IS THE POWER OF GOD FOR SALVATION TO EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES, are the luke warm ones.
We all need to be ready to meet our maker. The choice of hot/cold or which side you are on is up to you. In essence what Jesus is saying is, you are either with Him or against Him. There is no middle ground.
This is not a difficult requirement.
Any further questions, email me.

It sounds as though you have a good idea as to what Revelation 3:16 is about. Rock on!
As far as "keeping it real" is concerned, it is much easier if we keep in mind who God truly is: holy, just, full of wrath and grace, etc. Many times, we forget and try to "create God in our own image" rather than remembering who He is.

Gee, I don't think "keep it real" is an actual biblical quote. The verse you reference refers to people who take a lethargic attitude towards their belief. So, in a sense I guess I can see where you are coming from.

I've never seen "keep it real" in the New Testament. But I've read Rev. 3:16. Keep up the good work.

i will no longer be able to have faith that human beings get so perplexed and rotated approximately all issues Christian! If i might clarify one component first. guy in his unredeemed state can no longer comprehend the flaws of God. purely the Holy Spirit can open the eyes of your understand-how. guy will no longer be able to hold close the assumption of three being one . The very closest you may desire to get is thinking of your self as physique, recommendations and spirit. Your physique isn't your recommendations and yet that's a factor of you. Your recommendations isn't your spirit and yet that's a factor of you. The be attentive to God it seems that states that " interior the commencing up grew to become into the be conscious, and the be conscious grew to become into with God, and the be conscious grew to become into God. Jesus IS the be conscious. while Jesus grew to become into on the earth going approximately doing His works He gave the attention to God the father because of the fact he had "emptied Himself of His deity" with the intention to stroll between adult males, AS a guy so as that He might desire to alter into the only appropriate sacrifice for anybody who might have faith. The be conscious reported that "no longer one jot or tittle of the regulation might pass away until eventually all be fulfilled" That meant that until eventually a guy might desire to stroll this earth without breaking the regulation, we would continuously be sure by using it. provided that no guy grew to become into able to pleasurable the regulation (until eventually Jesus) we've been without wish of being reunited with God. one in all those good form of of you have no longer any theory of what Jesus did for us. one in all those good form of are so profane and disrespectful of God! To God be the attention and the honour and the compliment for all of eternity! If we fail to compliment Him even the rocks might cry out to compliment Him. that's going to be so until eventually the top, while Jesus returns. in the previous that's over the actuality would be revieled and then, because of the fact the be conscious says.... "each and every knee shall bow, each and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I say to them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, you that work iniquity.” (Matt 7:15-23)
Some go through the motions and have no substance....and no real relationship with Him.
