that is the first question that people ask when they know my child has autism, sadly there is no cure but you do get used to it, you just need to get information on the subject as we had to do, also every child is different who have autism, you will find out what your child's good days are and also what they like to do, i know from my experience that my child needs routine as she can become frustrated with out it. That's if you have a child that suffers from it.

no, no cure it is life long and i personally am not looking for one i wouldn't have my son any other way!!!!! (yes it is very hard) but whatever he achieves will be through his own hard work and does not need any interventions(i am not knocking any of them in any way) but he will achieve and cope in his own way how ever big or small they may be and at least i know he is 1 in a million so don't want to waste my time looking for one (sorry don't mean to go on but it is like life we all gotta just get on with it)

Some people are offended at the thought of an autism spectrum "cure." I mean, how would you feel if the majority of the population had autism and they were trying to fix you?
Some people with Asperger's don't want to be "cured" http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsFz2svINjGJAh.8JOWFZgUjzKIX?qid=20070204200130AA0fI4M http://www.co-brass.com/articles_how_about_not_curing_us.htm
and wouldn't be nonautistic if they could http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvVCEZmesP4Uvrs5PRA5UxTty6IX?qid=20070323183109AAoMOtq

No but there is now treatment available. Once you are born with autism you have it for life.
