It's spring and this is one of the 2 times during the year dogs shed the most. If your dog's on a really good quality food, all you can do is brush him very thoroughly every day to get all the dead hair out. Don't worry - it'll pass!!

unfortunately some dogs just shed...There are a few things though that you can look at.. Diet and stress on a dog, as well as physical health of the dog can all make a difference in a coat. If you think that the shedding is irregular take the dog the vet. If nothing is wrong your veterinarian may be able to help you decide on another type of food that will work better for you dog, and help his coat.

Well I have a chow mix which is a very fluffy dog and once spring hits, we have her fur shaved down enough so there's about an inch left on her. She stays cool that way during the summer and we don't have problems with shedding.

Brushing helps. But the reason he or she is shedding is because they have too heavy of coat for the weather or climate conditions. If you bring your dog inside a lot and the weather is cold, they will have had a heavy coat developed for the weather. Keep it outside more than in, until the weather warms up.
