My son is 7months old and here is how I feed him. Breakfast is breast feed first thing then oatmeal and 1/2 of a 2nd fruit. He breastfeeds before his morning nap.Lunch is a 1 jar of a meat/veggie and rest of the fruit from breakfast. He breastfeeds again before his afternoon nap. For dinner he has a jar of meat some veggies and a fruit. He also has juice through out the day. He gets one cup of it a day. That is about 8 ozs. I mix it half juice half water. Every baby is differnt. My son turns his heads or trys to play with his food when he is food. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BLESS!!!

Being a first time mom, I did a little research on feeding my daughter. Go to Gerber.com and you can find out how much and what your grandson should be eating. They also have sample menus based on how busy he his..

No juice. It offers nothing to him nutritionally and just fills his tummy. He should be getting 32oz of formula - that's his primary nutrition. Any solids, you can give him as much as he'll eat - that's just mostly to help him adjust to eating real food when he gets bigger.

Sounds about right....but you don't give him 3 jars at once do you? That might be too much.
