Well, Jesus did not create his relationship with our creator because Jesus IS the creator. Jesus is the Word made flesh. Creation came into being through this Word. And the Word IS God. It's called the mystery of the incarnation.

I am always happy to explain things, but please get your information straight before you ask questions like this

We have seen your many cut and paste posts imploring people to form their own personal relationship with the creator.

Unfortunately, this type of free form relationship building leads people to create relationships based upon their life experiences. If someone was abused as a child they may experience a relationship with Jesus that causes them to believe that they are required to seek retribution. This happens all the time within and without the confines of religious belief.

It is a recipe for disaster for many people. You have had a good experience with it, which is great, but don't confuse your experience as standard for what others will realize.

A relationship can be a part of a religion for some people. As I just posted, I believe that everyone has their own truth, thus, you can have a relationship is a religion, and no one can dictate the details of your personal religion.

Nonsense! Your beliefs apart from the revelation of God are just a manifestation of your own preferences and desires and based on your own limited knowledge and experience.

If you knew of someone living in Antartica, but had never communicated with them, and just assumed that he conformed to what you thought about him, could you say that you know the person living in Antartica?

By contrast, if I read letters or books written by the person living in Antartica, and thus knew his likes and dislikes, and what he had done over the years, and his plans for the future, and was enlightened by his knowledge on many things...I could say that I know him.....whereas your knowledge of him is a self-made fairytale....and in fact, you really doin't believe that anyone lives in Antartica- for if you did, you wouldn't think that your ignorant thoughts of him could somehow define him, any more so than they could define a neighbor whom you don't know.

Why should it be any different about a being who exists in Heaven?

Jesus is the one who made the Way for us to be restored in relationship with our Creator God.

When we are born of God, born of His Spirit, we are also spiritual & can pray to our Creator God 24/7 in spirit & truth.

You are right. I'm a Christian who believes in having a relationship with my heavenly Father, not with religion.

When Jesus preached to others that he is god and he is son of god, he was preaching religion. Lao Tzu was philosphical and Jesus was religious.

Love and peace.
