I mean yeah DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh is undoubtably evil and the works of The Devil himself, but I've heard a lot of religious people condemns anime.
Like I said, I only heard, so here I'm just asking for clarification.

Well, there are some anime series with religious themes. I could understand there are some christians who take exception to Neon Genesis Evangelion or Angel Sanctuary, and of course the many hentai and tentacle rape **** series.
That said, you would be missing out on some really good stuff if you just unilaterally ban all anime. Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Last Exile, and all studio Ghibli stuff like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke et al is just brilliant.
