It seems bare. What should we put above it? We have quite high ceilings.
Any ideas?

We are really wanted to do something more modern and maybe asian style I like that.
My boyfriend would not do well with flowers lol.

Maybe a coordinated set of pictures about 14x20 across the wall about 10 to 12 inches above it.
If it sets on a cabinet get the Asian sticks and do two matching vases (coordinated with your room of course) for each side the of TV. This should help balance out the wall.

Oooh, there's all kinds of possibilities. A flag, a large painting (or several small ones), a mirror with sconces on either side...or you could paint a Roman style mural. You could also (this is kind of wild, but) you could get plant boxes, hang them up and put real or fake flowers in them, drapping over the sides. Have fun decorating!!

you can put something called a sconce.... i think i spelled that right.. but what it is is a flower arrangement.. kind of like at weddings except you can hang this on the wall.. it's really pretty. thay're reall expensive sometimes. you can go to a craft store like micheals or hobby loggy or something & ask someone in the flower department about them. usually they make the arrengements for you for free, you just have the pay for the flowers. & they can give you tips cause they're professionals. ;)
