Do you religious people rejoice when a gay teenager dies, because there's one less "sinner" around?

I mean, are you and your God happy that he died early...rather than at an old age.

If you pray for the dead gay teenager, what do you pray for...considering he's dead.

Why do you hate him while he's alive and then pray for him when he's dead or committed suicide?

In America, straights hate gays.

Religious people use their religion to justify their primitive hatred for gays. But in the end, they have to admit, they are grunting idiots.

And I won't flirt with this one...... I don't crack myself up by making imbecil comments.

Your last question first - I don't hate anyone - EVERYONE sins - me too. I don't actually pray for a person who has passed on - they are now in God's capable hands - rather I pray for those who were left behind - especially someone who was so young - his family and parents would be devastated - it is for them I pray - for peace in their hearts and for healing.

No, I don't rejoice in the death of anyone - how sad that you would think that. I am a Christian and have many gay friends - no, I don't condone their lifestyle, but that is between them and God - it's not my place to judge them. Besides, it seems you are indicating that the person in question could not possibly be saved - I cannot see into anyone's heart, so how can I say this person is not saved?

Why would God be 'happy' when someone dies? God loves all His creation, even when we sin. He loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place so that we could have a relationship with Him - God is sad when people turn away from Him and rejoices when we come to Him.

What planet are you from? You talk about God and religious people like we're hate mongers or something when you, yourself, obviously hate God AND religious people. You didn't specify which God nor which religion so, I gonna assume you mean all of them. Therefore, it is obvious that you hate many different kinds of religious people and the God or gods they may worship. You claim we hate gays yet, you hate even more people. You hate the majority of people in the world. People you don't even know and you hate gods you don't even know. Somehow you think we're bad people when you're far worse. Who are you to judge us? If anything we religious people are taught not to "hate" because "hate" is an affliction of evilness yet, you are full of hate. Why would we rejoice in people dying, gay or not? That's just sick. How can you think that of us? What proof do you have that any of us ever hated you? I never said anything about gays good or bad. I certainly don't think highly of you after this question. I'll put you, the rest of the world, along with myself, in God's hands. That's what I've always done.

P.S. Where do you get off calling yourself "Lord"? Isn't that hypocritical?

No I dont rejoice when anyone dies. I pray for all people no matter what our differences may be. I pray that God have mercy on all people and to comfort and guide all people. I dont separate the human race into categories. We are all humans, not classifications .

I think that a lot of the Christians who answer here are not being honest with themselves when they deny that Christians by and large demean and berate gay people, I have seen a lot of patronising hatred towards gay people in the r and s section. I would like to ask those that send out these anti gay messages are you aware of the blood on your hands?

I think it's sad that Gay people think Christians hate them.

No, I'm not happy when a young life is ended, regardless.

Who says that Gay people don't believe in Christ?

I pray for our entire world! This has to stop!

I mourn the loss of all life, especially when death comes to a young person. Their sexual orientation or the fact that they are a teenager has nothing to do with that. I don't hate people. And yes, I am a practicing Christian.

People who behave in the way you are describing are using religion as an excuse for the fear of others who may be different from themselves.

I do not hate gays nor do I wish them an early death. I pray for everyone on an equal footing because no one is without sin. Homosexuality is just one more sin that some people commit..no more , no less. So I pray that they have made peace with God before they died and that God will have the wisdom and understnading to do what is right. And what is right to God is quite possibly very different from what a common human may think of as right. God causes the rain to fall on the just as well as the unjust so I leave the monumental decisions of who is hell bound to Him and do not try to second guess Him.

no you mourn the same way you would when a straight dude dies. they're still a person and its a loss of life and potential as well.

i don't hate gay people and anyone who is a believer shouldn't either because we are supposed to accomodate everyone. everyone has a different cross to bear and we can never fully understand what the next person is going through

Why are you assuming that all 'religious' people hate homosexuals?? I saw all the answers to your last question about being a 22 yr old, etc, and you received a lot of kind and wonderful posts, including from me. So why don't you title your questions a little differently, so that you are addressing not all, but some..

God does the judging...when someone dies the memory of that person goes back to God so he will remember him in the resurrection. Now we all know that God hates homosexuality. When the person is resurrected he will be taught how God wants him to be and worship. If he chooses to continue to be a homosexual and a threat to those around him he will be quietly put to sleep in death and never raised again. If he is wise and wants to thank God for giving him another chance he will do as God wills and will be counted worthy for everlasting life.
Why not start now to get on the narrow road leading off to life? Why not give up the fleshly desires that God hates in order to get your life into harmony with God's will now?
