I had 2 impacted and 2 normal ones when they were removed. I had them put me to sleep. It took them an hour to an hour and a half. Some pain meds and a driver later I was home with an icepack on my face watching the People's Court :) That was with only a minor complication of one of my impacted teeth.

When I had mine (actually 5 total) removed, I was out for 45 minutes. Some were impacted, some not.

I had all 4 done at once a few years ago by Dr Morimoto in IL...it took him an hour and all of mine were impacted...he did a great job and is highly recommended in this area
I woke up and left just fine...with a prescription for pain killers of course...but I healed up quickly..I always recommend him to everyone around here

i just had mine taken out on Tuesday and from me walking into the operating room to waking up in recovery it took about 45 min. two teeth were impacted and 2 weren't. i would also suggest being put under, i think it might prove to be a bit traumatizing!

I think mine took an hour to get 2 out. If you are of a tiny frame like me, you will need someone to drive you home as the medication they put you under is quite strong.
