People like you make Christianity an even bigger Joke then it already is
It is a shame you where born in this era, you would have fit in so nicely with the Inquisitors, the Crusaders or the Nazis.

I agree, however this may be deeper than you are aware of. I firmly believe that today Jesus is the way. No need to compromise there. But there are those who never heard-trust me-God has a plan. We may not be told for a reason. God is just-He will deal with everyone-even those who never heard the name Jesus. How? we do not know-but, "all have sinned" and all will be judged.

Maybe they're making compromises because they can see that their way of thinking is FLAWED.
With so many good people in the world it's hard to believe that only those who accept christ will go to this magical place called heaven. The place where the roads are paved in gold... everyone gets whatever they want & nobody feels pain. (Sounds too idealistic to be true if you ask me.)..... EVEN THOUGH, there were THOUSANDS of people alive BEFORE christ what happened to them? Where did THEY go when they died?
Your living you're life based on a fantasy and you are (like the typical christian) looking down upon those who do not follow what you follow.

Truth never changes. Jesus is THE way, the truth, and the life. The one and only. I have never told anyone otherwise. God forgive me if I do. I can be tolerant toward others without judging them. But my main goal should always be to introduce them to the love of Jesus Christ. I can best do this by reflecting His love, as the moon, which has no light of its own, reflects the sun. If I can show love, patience, compassion, and tolerance for others, as He does, then that will be my best testimony. I am not perfect in this, but I am learning.

Will, i such as you lots! i'm sorry that my faith is hurting you, because of the fact the final ingredient i pick is to make you unhappy... yet i will't help that i've got self belief this with all of my heart. I savor the compromises you have made and that i'm prepared to make compromises too! I by no potential pronounced our infants could be raised Christian or bust... I basically pronounced that from my point of view i might practice that Christianity is actuality. you'll be happy to tell them regardless of you desire to! And basically because of the fact i'm Christian and pronounced that Christ comes first in my existence does not recommend that i don't love you lots that i might die for you! i'm loopy approximately you!!!! you are the funniest, kindest, gentlest soppy welshman that a gal could desire to ever pick. you have cheered me up whilst i assumed not something in the international could desire to. Please do not forget approximately i such as you.

I agree 100%
Even in the secular circles that I am a part of...I am considered a very nice, funny, and laid back person...I am able to witness by my life rather than speaking out as I do in this forum...and it works..people do take notice...and show respect for me.
In this religious forum, however I present and defend the Gospel,in love outwardly...and no doubt, shame the Lord,by my poor presentation at times....I really do care about the people that visit here, and have e-mailed back and forth with a few.
I can not comprimise the gospel,however...It would be unfair and selfish for me to do so.(even, though it means, exclusion from the crowd)

The Bible is not clear about anything. An open, accepting, loving interpretation is just as valid as a closed, narrow one.
Matthew 22:36-40
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and the great commandment.
And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
On these two commandments hang
all the law and the prophets.
... Notice Jesus did not say anything about joining a church there.
I John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time.
If we love one another,
God dwelleth in us,
and his love is perfected in us.
... again, all you need is LOVE. not ritual, not dogma, just love. If love is enough for God to be perfect within us, then what is greater than perfection?
And you want to know what Jesus thought of senseless fundamentalist rituals and laws that obscure Love?
The Fundamentalists of today are the same as the Pharisees of Jesus' time.
I think Jesus is best qualified to answer your question himself:
Matthew 23:13
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:
for ye neither go in yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye devour widows' houses,
and for a pretence make long prayer:
therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte,
and when he is made,
ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

I absolutely refuse to compromise to gain acceptance by people who preach fear and bigotry, instead of love.
Realize that some of us disagree with your interpretation. I grew up in a fundamentalist church. I know the beliefs. I also know that it was nearly completely void of the Spirit of God. Fear ruled, not love.
Consider that when some of us disagree with you, it is because we choose to dig deeper into scripture instead of automatically accepting the words of some preacher who may not even understand half the words he speaks.
By the way: When Christ said "I am the way" perhaps He was referring to His teachings. I think people of many religions would agree with the teachings of Christ.

If they are making compromises, then they are not true Christians now are they? Of course, on the flip side we all sin. Judgement will come and all will be judged. Christians and non alike.

I agree with you. It says in the Bible that the only way to the Father (God) is through the Son (Jesus). Being Christian isn't about being accepted by others, it is about pleasing God and deciding where you will spend eternity.

christianity compromises the Truth...
especially the lies and deceptions in the bible...
Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?
christianity, that's who !
Why, because christians can't PROVE their religious beliefs, never have, never will, just like the above quote says: without Spiritual knowledge...
Here's how to eliminate christianity and religion in YourLife:
Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!
atheists = all the people in religion
