Oh. That's going to go over real well.

Good luck with that. That's sort of like telling Christians that if their Bible is accurate, only Jews and people who have voluntarily made a covenant with their god can sin, and no one else can.

Just because it's right biblically doesn't mean Christians* care about it.

*if I meant all, I would say all.

I've heard this question plenty of times. The Apostle Paul answered a very similar question in Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" The idea that a person could trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and then go on living just as he/she lived before - is absolutely foreign to the Bible. Believers in Christ are new creations. The Holy Spirit changes us from producing the acts of the flesh , to producing the fruit of the Spirit .The Christian life is a changed life.

Because He died on the cross, He allowed you to be victorious over sin(the act). We live in sin(the state) because of Adam. When He died on the cross it was a sure thing that now, through the power of God, we don't have to be servants to sin, because now we're above sin. Read Romans, I'll say start with the 4th chapter, and go on through each chapter.

What in the world. God sent his only begotten son to die for our sins. That is the sins of the world. HOwever, everytime you sin you are suppose to repent (meaning to ask him forgiveness). That is not saying to take advantage of him either. With Jesus dying on the cross it gave us a little leway. If not we would still have to sacrifice lambs, sheeps,...etc in order for God to forgive us. In other words Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. Without him there would be no us.

You are half right, But His death is not a ticket for us to live in sin. It is meant for us to be able to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father even though we will never be perfect.
Romans 6 Vers.14 -16. Take care and may God bless you spiritually. (I hope I didn't ruin your plans)

It was I, the solar god Re, who died and was resurrected for the good of mankind. I did this at least 2000 years before this "Jesus" guy came and stole my thunder.

Regardless, please do not sin. It makes your heart heavy against the feather of Ma'at, and my gaurdian Ammut just loves a sinful soul to devour. They're like marshmallows to her. You will have to present your case to my 42 judges upon your death, and you must deny your bad deeds. If you have too many, I'm afraid you will be in trouble.

You have a good point. Unfortunately because of our sin nature and free will, we cannot possibly become perfect in the instant that we believe Christ died for our sins. We can only strive to be like Christ and with His help do what it good and righteous.

The old "we should continue to sin so that God's grace will abound" agruement. Paul answered that one in Romans chapter 6. You are about 2000 years late asking that one.

Look it up some time. When you read all of the book, you have all the answers.

You should not take his sacrifice for granted either. No one is perfect and does sin. It does not mean to go out and purposfully sin. That would be wrong. He died to protect us from ourselves since we are only human and do make wrong choices.

We should be grateful and respectful of his sacrifice.

Plantation owners in the old South also quoted the Bible as proving God wanted them to own slaves.
Trying to manipulate the text to validate whatever discretion's you feel like making is an old trick. Right is right, wrong is wrong. Do whatever you want, but don't try to tell me its all sanctified.
