You have never heard my nephew (he isn't Chinese or of any Asian descent). He sounds like a starving hog engorging himself at the trough.

Many Asians enjoy food at a higher level. So if I was Chinese I would be making all kinds of noises.
And, many Asian women are so nice. So the guys get corrected less often from the women.
Personally speaking, I've slurped and smacked with a few Chinese guys and it was fun.
Each nationality has different rules. Your rules don't apply to their rules.

It is a cultural thing. I married an Asian man. It has taken me ten years to break his loud eating habits during ‘American’ meals. When we have Chinese food, then he slurps away.
If you tell your co-workers anything about their eating habits you are just going to come off as rude. Try to schedule your lunch so you are out of the office during their lunch. If it is allowed you can also turn on a radio or put on your ipod during their lunch.

In their culture it is good manners to do so, it shows that the food is good and is a compliment. If you were to eat as you normally do in their house you would appear to be quite rude.
Extend them some tolerance and understanding.

It's gross. Really ******* annoying. Drives me nuts. It's not just when they eat Asian food. Some chinese guy was doing it in an Italian restaurant tonight. Just stop it, please..

In America it is just rude. Smack them upside their head the next time they slurp and smack. Teach them some American manners through American force. You can take them, America is fighting a war on two fronts. China can't even keep Taiwan on a leash. Force some manners into them.

that's a significant annoyance to me. yet another one is while human beings have their turn sign on for miles. i think of I could desire to be waiting to pull them over, call for they roll down their window, and only slap them for being stupid!
