When I double-click on the Train Simulator icon it just says 'Train Simulator requires Hardware Acceleration'. My acceleration is already set to full. I am running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 and DirectX 9 on a 1.1GHz processor. Can you please help me?

Would I be correct in assuming that you have on-board graphics in your computer?

When you receive the error that you require Hardware Acceleration, it normally means that you need a slot in graphics card. (You'll need to check the manual that came with your computer to determine whether you need PCI-eXpress, AGP, or PCI.)

it will totally work. and you have a pretty good computer by the way. but since the game is made by Microsoft then it will work on vista.
