Abusers never see their actions as wrong. They only correct their behaviour with intense psychotherapy and medication.
If you were in an abusive relationship make sure that you get into therapy and then look for a guy who does not match your current type.
I was abused emotionally by my step-mother and I kept dating girls who were controlling. I finally met a wonderful woman and I recognized that she was not my type. I threw away my type and now we have been happily married for four years.
If you look at a number of the answers to this question you will see abusive men who are clearly proud of being abusive. These are the men to watch out for.
Take care,
Troy

Oh lord knows I'm trying. I've made mistakes in my past relationships and I'm with a new girl now and it's really, really, really, really freakin hard to not repeat certain behavior. need to relax and treat her right without losing that emotional excitement. Holy crap, it's tricky with girls! But I'm getting better with experience.

LOL, no guys never admit they are wrong, they are lost or they don't know where something is in the market. Guys just aren't made that way. If they treated a woman badly, it wasn't that they had a problem, it was the woman who demanded too much, who whined too much, who was too selfish and too self-centered and too clingy ... and guess what? Sometimes they are right.

Hello Grace
The main issue is that women want to control instead of compromising witch pisses guys off and then you get treated badly for not work with your man instead of against him.

usually my bad actions are realized while I am dating a chick I couldn't care less for. I never feel bad when I lose or dump a girl I already know I am treating poorly due to lack of interest. Never treated a girl I really cared about poorly.

nobody is perfect and no two people are the same. So, your gonna fight and argue that's life. Of course we feel bad after we do something stupid and if we don't more then likely we're over then relationship anyways and don't really care what you think of us. Women do it to all the time

Yes, we are in fact human if that's really what you're trying to ask, but remember, relationships are always meant to be a two way street, so let's not be too quick to start pointing fingers.

It won't make anything any easier to hope an ex is going to learn their lesson. The real question is did you learn yours?
