My girlfriend and I have been dating 11 months now! About3 or 4 months after we start dating, a lot of people ask us if we have yet, or how many times or we do it all the time? It gets on our nerves because we diffently do not! We have never and will never until we are married! Why do you think?

In our society today, saving yourself for marriage is almost unheard of. Congratulations for making such an awesome decision!
My daughter and her husband dated for over 4 years, and went through what you & your girlfriend are. Everyone assumes, but they were true to themselves till after the vows were exchanged. When I was married everyone thought I was pregnant even his family....longest pregnancy in the world should be mine because it was 5 years after we were married that we had our first child!
Honey, you don't owe anyone any explaination, and prepare yourself for more of the same. I am sorry, but we people are ignorant and nosey! Hopefully, they will get tried of asking soon, and leave you and your love in peace.

They think that everyone who is affectionate is having sex. They can't get beyond it. Some of it is hopeful, because if you are that means that they might get lucky as well. Some of it is hopeful that you will spill the beans and give them details. But it all boils down to the fact that a percentage of people when they date, a smaller percentage than most people realize, do have sex, so they jump tot hat assumption.
