good gas mileage, comfortable, mid-size suv or mini-van

Oldsmobile Bravada is a great, very comfortable,easy on gas SUV. I have three Dobermans & a mutt that rides in it!!!

Sigh oh for a dog show vehicle that has it all - space AND mileage
A VW jetta wagon is a great option for a moderate number of mid sized dogs & the desil gets enviable gas milage- I know a dog show participent that loves hers.
The subru forester is popular with a number of show people I know (to the point of selling the spouses car and replacing it with a SECOND Forester)and has good gas milage for a SUV.
The Honda element is another vehicle with growing popularity and certainly it see just MADE for dogs but once again not the space of a true van...
I settled on the masda MPV as pretty near the best milage you can get on a mini van but you can only get them used now
The Toyota van is probably now best milage mini van
The jeep Liberty has a desil version but less cargo space than many of us want.
I have no experience with the new hybrid SUVs but according to the ratings they get no better milage than the forester anyway
Then its positivly shocking what some people can get into a little hatchback clown car but, from experience, what a pain to squeeze that tight!

I have a Jeep Liberty Renegade and it's perfect for my 2 big Golden's. Plus it's great in the snow and any other nasty kinds of weather. Also very comfy ride too. We travel with the dogs everywhere and they are comfy too. Plenty of room for them and us.
As with any SUV or even a Mini Van the gas milage isn't the greatest but with my Jeep because it's on the smaller side we do OK with the milage.
