First, they believe that there IS a god
Second, they believe that god's direct words are written in the bible, by man but sent from god.
Third, they think, as you say, that this is enough for anyone. The bible has all the answers for them.
It is incredible that supposedly-educated people in the 21st century are still hanging on to archaic and ancient beliefs that most 12 yr olds can see through as being totally fictitious.

Faith as defined by the apostle Paul is the opposite to "endless genealogies" and myth. - 1 Timothy 1:4
Also in the out basket, as far as faith is concerned is philosophy. Nietzsche said that philosophers tend to mummify their subjects. They are interested in subjects of "being." They get stuck when dealing with subjects of "becoming." This is how studying growth or generation becomes something that stretches out over time without being a functional component of the growth, except inasmuch as Zen separates sex and meditation as two separate disciplines, so that joining back into the growth scenario again consists of having sex. The metaphor is of a dragnet (Habakkuk 1:15, 16).
Faith, meanwhile is confident that love is the means by which the universe turns. The fruits of God's holy spirit are love, joy, peace, faith, long-suffering, self-control, goodness, mildness and kindness. (Galatians 5:22, 23)
Prayer helps. God is our Father and doesn't want sacrifices. He just wants thanks (Psalms 50) and our willingness to call on him in our times of need (which is all the time).
Faith does mean work, but what the world seems to consider work is just something to keep people with base imaginations in paid employment so somebody knows how many things they're counting each day, keeping their head busy with phonological tasks, rather than visuospatial, unless they can be trusted with it. Real work is servitude to God and it doesn't feel like work. It feels like living.

Religious text is from testments made by people that spent time with Jesus. Most religions agree that jesus did exsist and these people claim to have seen him perform certain mircles. Also, all he said (when you get down to the nitty gritty of it) was to be nice to people and treat people with respect. Dont judge people. I dont think he was wrong in what he was saying. Also back in the day people didnt understand how the world (things like stars, the sun, the weather) happened so it must have been a GOD. We now know how it works so dont think of it as such a remarkable thing. To me thats where God came in. But the teachings of Jesus was probably a good thing. Isnt it nice being nice to people and for them to be nice to you?
Please dont think im religious as Im not in the slightest. I would consider myself agnostic.

Christans will always fall back on their text as proof of their God. I totaly believe in Deity, without question. I just think that Chirstians are using their belief as a basis to prove their point. It would be like a goverment proving their point by quoting a statement made by their goverment. I know that 99.99% of Christians will disagree but it is truth reguardless.

God know what you are up to what you are going to do what you are doing befor you even do it...God made that path for you...
Now you'll say ok then since God know if the alot of people are going to Haven why did the proftes cames??? why did God send people to make others people who God knows that they aren't going to do what they have been asked to do why bothering??
Look in life God gave you options.. options that that you can't choose others, like where to go with who to go, should I pray to day or just wait til I get older than bother...God gave you bring use it... with it you can see what is right and wrong...
Fath is to be here right now not there... God know that before you even be there...
some might say not fair... What is fair since you don't know your future... God give you Faths and you choose it...

You generalise. I'm a believer yet not religious. I have no doubts in God but know much of the Bible is fake.
I also think you question is entirely invalid. When I did go to church we we're never taught that the Bible proved God existed. We we're over and over told that we must have Faith to be saved. This completely contradicts your question.

Although a Christian, I agree that quoting scriptual text is not proof of God. God can not be proven. Belief in him is based on faith which comes from the heart, not simply through intellectual pursuit.
A non believer looks at the Bible as a non provable intellectual exercise without looking into their heart for the proof they seek.

I think the proof of God's existance is the world because I think that if proof of an Intelligent Creator. You are free to disagree, of course. But, what I am saying is that I would not as a religious person use the Bible as proof of God

Because they want it to. They have no proof, and cling to their faith so hard and use the only information they have to try and manufacture proof.
