Im sorry but that is funny. I have twins, and as soon as they figured out that jamming their hands down their throats would get me running, they did it ALL the time. Try egnoring it, or flashing him a scolding look, then walking away. DONT pay it any mind or believe me he will keep right on at it. LOL. My two both quit when they figured out I had nothing to say about it. Well, I guess sometimes they still do it, they entertain each other that way sometimes(creepy toddlers) They think its just soooo funny. I just roll my eyes and walk away. Its pretty normal lol.
I would only be concerned if you notice this immediatly after eating, and if he does it almost every time.

are you sure he's not cutting his last 4 morlars? My daughter use to stick her hand in her mouth because she was teething and she would also gag and sometimes throw up. It was because she was teething and not for attention. This lasted about 2 months. Then she stopped. So check his mouth maybe the last molars that come in around 2-3 years of age are coming in. get him some ice pops if this is the case or a gum numbing gel.

Kids go through a lot of very odd stages. I've personally been battling my daughter over eating dirt for the last two weeks. Last month it was pulling the cat's tail, next month it will probably be something new. I'd give it a while before making a big deal about it.

It's not abnormal. He's trying to get attention. My cousin did this when she was a little girl. Her mother would get all upset and clean it up and make a big fuss.
Finally, her dad said "next time she does it, don't clean it up." My cousin had to sleep in it all night. She never did it again.
They might try something like that....and maybe find out why he needs attention so desperately. Could be just naughtiness, or maybe is either parent gone a lot?

It happens. And the extra of a reaction she gets from you, the extra she is going to do it. you may try giving her time outs or taking issues away whilst she does it. yet whilst she thinks it relatively is relaxing to make Mommy disappointed, that isn't artwork very properly. i might evaluate ignoring it to extinguish the undesirable habit. in case you do no longer do something, she will in all risk grow to be bored in it in some days.

Totally normal. They are playing with cause and effect. They grow out of it.

Yep, he wants attention. It doesn't matter that is negative. Ignore it (I know it is hard) and he will stop after a short while.
