Cain didin't give an excellent sacrifice, Able did. God respected Ables sacrifice.

Cho wrote a poem of death & addressed certain individuals in poem class (students didn't come to class then because they sensed he was a threat). The teacher didn't favor Cho's work, so Cho withdrew from the class (rather than doing good).

In Cain & Able, the LORD asked Cain why he was angry? If he did well, he would be accepted; and if he didn't do well, sin lies at the door. And the desire to do sin...and he needed to resist it.

Just like Cho wouldn't start writing better poems (though given an oportunity to), Cain didn't want to give his firstfruits (best) & instead the desire to kill ruled them.

Yes, serpent seed.

Joh 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Sorry but that's a rather superficial treatment of Cho and most likely of Cain. Cho didn't go on a rampage just because he didn't take the opportunity to write better poems, and it wasn't that his writing was bad technically but it was dark and macabre. In other words he was a decent student and could write but choose to to write about death, slaughter and very dark subject matter.

Somewhere back in the past, he may have had a simple choice about how to deal with a problem (like you're trying to imply in your question) and choose poorly; but it's clear that he was a deeply disturbed individual and need way more help than he was getting. I would be extremely careful about over simplifying this incident.

I highly suspect that Cain may have been similar, as it seems rather extreme to kill one's brother over a single sacrifice. There are some strange things about this, Cain being a farmer would have been less likely to be violent than Able, a shepard -- well from the perspective that Able killed his sacrifice and Cain harvested fruits. Another strange thing is that Cain maintained a speaking relationship with God and asked for protection from other, unknown humans.

Cain's motives are timeless, jealously and coveting, as a root of murderous rage. Cho was a psychotic who's symptoms were overlooked by the University as well as the local police. One doesn't have to be mentally ill to be jealous; it's a human emotion. Cho was a sick person who's symptoms were overlooked and ignored by all but a few; who, as ti turns out, were ignored. There is no greater tragedy than to know the future and have no one believe you (Casandra).

Maybe Cho thought god was asking him to sacrifice people, where was the angel of death to stop him?

There was none, because there are no angels, there is no god, there is no afterlife. We are all just psychotic apes inhabiting a dirtball in the middle of space. Our existence is a fluke, and when we are gone there will be no pearly gates, no singing choirs, and no divine judgement.

The only heaven we have is the one we make here. Looking to the writings of some religious hustlers from centuries past will not redeem you, or me, or anyone. I'm sorry, but that is the truth.

Hello, Tami:

Yes, that story in Genesis predicted a pattern where bad religions would target those who obey God.

Remember, Jesus said the Devil would plant his representatives in the church--"damnable herasies" have come.

God does have a people in every relilgions, and now is the time God calls to Babylon: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues (Revelation 18:4).

Thus, there is a time of purification where God's people will be united in Spirit, and these Saints will, yes, as Jesus promised: "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth."

There is a "secret" Bible code--"sealed until the end of the days" that talks of Jesus' Messiahship, and much more--yes it even reveals the Abomination of Desolation that Jesus spoke of. www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

Blessings and peace, One-Way

I think DNA evidence would prove that Adam murdered his own son. Cain was just a patsy.
