If you mean acne during the puberty, those happen because of hormone changes. They usually go away from 21-23. But some people have them up to their late 20's...
You can check this great website too:

Acne or pimples are usually a result of hormonal changes and an irregular and increased production of oil by the sebaceous glands. An excellent remedy for pimples or acne-prone skin can be made by mixing 1 teaspoon ground cloves with 2 tablespoons fullers earth and ice water. When you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

Some people never do sadly. Some people also who never had much as teens get it in adult years - (that age is in question to most of us). ;)
I suggest you find a really good regime. Stick to it Am/Pm
and if over the counter products just can't help you (if you are really working at it) see your MD.
If you have oily hair use a shampoo for this symptom -
start at the top!
A good acne wash
a good toner (witch hazel)
a good acne cream
A good exfoliant use twice a week on a clean face.
a good deep cleaning pore mask - use once a week on a clean face N OT on exf. days.
Drink a lot of water

Hang in there, Bojan: You're almost out of the tunnel!
Most people stop having acne problems at the end of their adolescence.

sometimes never to be honest.. I am nearly 30 and still battling with it. I went to a dr though and he gave me antibiotics (doxycycline) and retin-a gel and it is nearly gone. However the minute I stop using either of these, it comes back. See someone for it if you are concerned as the older you get, the higher your chances of scarring becomes as we lose collagen that is necessary for scar healing as we age.

I'm still battling with acne, however I heard that Proactiv works wonders. I want to try it, but i don't like products that you have to continuously buy to help you with your skin problems.
