I don't know the answers for all Baptist denominations. It generally depends on the local church itself. It usually requires a proof of spiritual maturity or experience in related fields (Otherwise it could cause a real problem), but it does not necessarily require one to take specific number of years in seminary (Although seminary works would be helpful in the decision making process).
As far as I know:
1. Southern Baptist Convention does not have specific requirement for minister ordination. It all depends on the local church.
http://sbc.net/aboutus/clministers.asp
2. Baptist General Council (BGC) does have a specific procedure. In reality not every affiliated church follows the procedure verbatim. It depends on the church.
Please refer to:
http://www.bgcworld.org/pservice/ordin.htm
3. American Baptist Church also has its own "recommended" procedures but it varies by region. Also, I heard not every affiliated church follows the recommendation. Again, it depends on the church and the region.
Some resources available online are:

I think if you're really interested in becoming a Baptist minister, you should contact your local Baptist church that you wanted to join and check with them about their requirement.

RE:
What is the process for becoming an ordained minister in the Baptist denomination?
Do you need to go to seminary? Do you need to undergo a trial period for certain number of years?

Anyone can get a License to Preach on the Internet. The only way that someone will be able to preach and have a Church GROW is if they are called by God to do it. I know you are not like this, but there are some who are and are only in it for the money. IF you are called by God, HE WILL sustain you AND the Church. A Degree in something does not mean that someone knows about it especially when it comes to Preaching, Teaching, or otherwise concerning the Word of God. There are a lot of Spiritual Ignorant so called preachers out there today who may as well be a Ditch Digger as they would get more done. IF you feel led by God, go for it. Here is a little something to remember and I mean it in a nice way,
Judgment BEGINS at the House of The Lord

Check with a local Baptist pastor,I'm sure he would be able to tell you more and provide some guidance.
Off topic, but I'm getting tired of the comments by certain people on here who think that they can say whatever they want, insult whoever they like, and it's okay to do it because they are somehow 'better' than the people they are being rude to.If you believe you are right, prove it.Name calling is not the way to go about it,and doesn't make you look any better.

The Baptists don't require an educated clergy, you can be a Baptist minister if you can demonstrate that you have the "calling."

Having grown up in baptist churches, I can honestly say that there was no formal process. If you were "lead by god" to be a pastor/minister/preacher/whatever you wanna call it, they gave you the job.

Prerequisites include bashing gays, liberals, keeping women out of the pulpit, supporting Republicans (who don't care about your church but use you to get votes), not listening to logic, believing fables as being inerrant and incessantly trying to convert people (because your church needs membership dollars.)
Then, after that, you can do pretty much anything, including getting divorced (Baptist article here):
http://www.baptiststandard.com/2000/1_12/pages/divorce.html
Try to stay way from sex abuse issues, though, because the media is hot on this now (another Baptist article here):

Both of those usually, although it does depend on what church you are planning on pastoring. Also, there is more than one kind of Baptist. You might want to look at want ads for pastors of Baptist churches and see what their requirements are. I hope that helps. God bless.

Just be a gullible do anything person, allow yourself to willfully absorb all the propaganda, and subject yourself to the indoctrination process, thus you'll be well on your way to achieving an ordained cultist position without attending a seminary.
