I suffer with it as well and was thinking it was a bit early to be taking the tablet this morning, but maybe not by the looks of things.

I suffer from hay fever but it hasn't started yet. I recommend Zirtek hayfever relief tablets. The effect is really miraculous. All the other remedies I have taken such as Piriton syrup (for example) have not helped at all but with these little tablets you can take one in the morning and have a completely hayfever-free day! Its brilliant - no itchy eyes or constant sneezing for me this year - you don't even need eyedrops if you use these. They are really tiny and easy to swallow as well. :)

I have never suffered with hay fever, then a few days ago, i started to get all blocked up as if i had a cold and i started to stream like a river out of my nose... not convinced that it was hay fever, but took antihistamines and now it has stopped

Seems to start earlier each year??? or is it just that the weather is a bit warmer than usual for this time of year. I have escaped so far although was already taking antihistamines for an allergic reaction to antibiotics!! My 10 year old son has had bright red itchy eyes and his nose has looked like it is bubbling! His usual antihistamine has done nothing, so back at Doctors yesterday (hopefully this one will!!) It doesnt help that with the first bit of sunshine everyone runs out to cut their grass and we are all obviously outdoors more when the weather is warmer.

I've never had "hay-fever" as such before but I suffer with perennial rhianitus which is a similar thing... an allergy to something that results in really bad nasal congestion, I can't breath at all without constant nasal spray use (I know, bad idea) and within the last few days I'm certain that hayfever has started too.

Great. :'(

It usually starts towards the end of April because the grass is drying up ready for people to cut. However because the seasons are coming earlier (nicer weather earlier) the grass is being cut earlier and there fore the pollen is higher than normal.
I haven't yet got it , however I was so bad last year that I started on Anti Histamine at the begging of April this year, which seems to of sub sided it for now.
I hope if your a bad suffer you find something that eases it, I do sympathise with people who have it, it's horrible.

With avengance! I actually started three weeks ago with what I thought was a chest infection. Cue coughing fits at 5 every morning and difficulty breathing. A nurse friend of mine suggested that this might be a form of hayfever and had I considered Piriton? I started yesterday and can breath today properly for the first time in an age.

Yes, mine are in full swing. I live next to a field that grows 'rape seed oil' and it's bad. I live on antihistamines all the time during this time of the year. My eyes get itchy and watery and my nose runs. Oh what fun and games life can be. I can't move yet because we're renting and stuck in an agreement for a while. I've never had hay fever before until I moved to Cambridgeshire.

Oh yes! It has been starting for weeks, but really hit hard over the weekend. Bunged up sinuses and ears, itchy eyes, runny nose. My antihistamines and nose spray are finally starting to take full effect after a week, but my husband only started his a few days ago and he can't breath, sleep or stop coughing!!

It does seem to start earlier. It used to be May and June that were the worst times (right during exams!), but now I try to start the meds by end of March at the latest.

I used to suffer very bad with hayfever but I started to take Zirtek two years ago and I don't suffer as much. I take Zirtek every night before I go to bed because can make you sleepy and I don't want to be falling asleep while I am working or Driving
