I tend to think that ideology is potentially open to charges of leaving some people out, as in cult ideology. Literally, it means the study of ideas. I don't know why you'd want to study them instead of trying them out or using some common sense. In general, it runs the risk of being the study of "other people's" ideas, and can be a bit like figuring people out before they know themselves, or putting words in their mouth. It's extremely annoying when this happens. Do people realise what the passage of time means? Ideas change. People have freedom of choice and belief. According to Engels, we don't believe what we think we believe anyway.
It might be analogous to gossip, which means "God sib." I don't know why God's sibling would analyse ideas, especially seeing as he doesn't have one. I'm tempted to think that Satan and the demons pretend to be like "blood brothers" with their human friends, so that they just say they're like your kid brother with some fresh input you might like to know before they go off and do something you think they might have to spend time in the naughty corner for.
The Bible says at Proverbs 26:22
The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.
This is how Joseph Campbell describes mythology in his book, "Creative Mythology." It springs from host to host as it finds room for itself in the brain. I don't know how this happens. Phonology is different to literacy, according to me. Phonology attempts to keep your heart beating in reference to your environment. This is because it goes along with addictions, wherein your behaviour changes with your environment (hence Islam's attempt to regulate behaviour according to social codes for different situations with different cues in the environment so as to make the whole thing easier to understand) because the brain needs to know if its allowed a fix right now. Phonology is one slave to your working memory, according to Baddeley's model of working memory. The other is the visuospatial sketchpad. They both pull information out of your subconscious. If facial recognition has to do with analogy, as well as the visuospatial sketchpad, then it seems to me that if the subconscious houses the base elements of Freud's postulation (by choice, not by birth), then the analogy of your face will match with people's ideas of what justice "looks" like based on which movies they've seen or made. Hence the expression "losing face" if the myth-makers, such as Hollywood moguls, stop remembering having seen somebody like you lately. Phonology is the study of sounds. It drives you on but that's all. Literacy lets your brain be non-addicted while it listens to information. Then any choices about its regulation of your body are not dependent on the emotional content of the message. You can't be shocked because you're not basing your ideas about justice on shock value. Literacy means that metaphor is made full use of to soften the blow. Lots of things are turned into metaphor in the Bible instead of giving us a blow by blow description. Actually there's some of that too. God really is patient before he destroys or reprimands.
Therefore, prayer is a good way to start a Christian gathering. It de-stresses the brain so that it's not just looking for physical nourishment via the bloodstream (using your belly as a god - even if you don't eat that much, you are feeding your brain via substances rather than God's word if you let your brain think that this is sufficient; you might become a "discerning" eater) but is able to sustain itself by means of comforting mental processes. It is usually a really big deal to live this way. People think it's weak.

An ideology is an organized collection of ideas. The word ideology was coined by Count Antoine Destutt de Tracy in the late 18th century to define a "science of ideas." An ideology can be thought of as a comprehensive vision, as a way of looking at things (compare Weltanschauung), as in common sense (see Ideology in everyday society) and several philosophical tendencies (see Political ideologies), or a set of ideas proposed by the dominant class of a society to all members of this society. The main purpose behind an ideology is to offer change in society through a normative thought process (what the world ought to be). Ideologies tend to be abstract thoughts applied to reality and, thus, make this concept unique to politics. Ideologies are very common in the world of politics

An ideology is a set of ideas beliefs and opinions about society, providing a framework of how people should live as well as how society is or should be organised. A nation's ideology is usually reflected in the political system it creates.
Certainly we are in the middle of a politically correct ideology, which is a set of liberal attitudes about education and society. To be politically correct is to be sensitive to unconscious racism and sexism and to display environment awareness. Has been criticised as a type of thought policing.
