I would say that chances are fairly 50:50 as far as Sri Lanka (SL) and New Zealand (NZ) are concerned.
However, given the enthusiasm the SL players are showing in these days, the NZ may have to wait for four more years before they would be able to play in any of the Finals of WC matches.
Go SL go. We would root for you!

most of people say "without murali, vass, lasith they cannot win the match"... yeh that can be true.. without them how can they make a team....???if there are 15 players including reserve people, so that is the team... without them it's not a team...
actually i think Sri Lankans can win the match...they are hoping to win that match....i think that's why they lost Aus Vs. SL as well...
I think they think that they can win that match easily more than SA or Ausi in semi finals... that's why they did that....
obviously Kiwis have a chance to win.. but it's really difficult....

Yes,
Not only Kiwis & Kangaroos would challenge them,
but most probably get mauled & humiliated by lions

Ireland and New Zeland are entirely teams of different mould. I strongly feel that Sri Lanka will struggle against New Zeland in the semi final.
