Yes, you should get ECNR stamped on your passport or temporarily suspended (the ecr status) before leaving for Kenya. Recently the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India have been simplified the criteria for ECNR.

Submit your passport along with the attested copy of your educational certificates (matriculation or above) and you will get back your passport on the same day.

You can also get ECNR done at the port of the departure. This is just a temporary ECNR which will be done only for that trip. Getting it done permanently in a passport office is the best way.

I extremely have ECR stamp on my passport. Am i eligible to paintings in Canada? . As i'm no longer able to delete this stamp as my Matriculation certificates DOB and DOB on my passport having difference extra then 2 years and one month. Passport officers are asking for courtroom order. Already I extremely have spent extra money for the comparable i will t get this and would t spend extra for this to any extent further.
