Yes, it is Vista compatible.

All routers, Dlink included, are Operating System "independent". They have their own computer and Operating system built-in.

The ONLY thing that is truly compatable with Vista is idiots with more money and time than they have sense.
Nearly all of us pros have suggested waiting at least a year to get Vista (most suggest 2 years). I suggest getting Vista NEVER. Instead, get smart and get a good open source operating system such as www.kubuntu.org

For a device / hardware to be compatible with Vista or any other operating system, it needs a DRIVER specifically made for the operating system in which it will be used on.

In your case you need to download drivers for Vista.

Other devices such as hubs, switches, routers don't need drivers.
