Gerbil, I am v jealous. If I could afford the Congestion fee, and how a parking space, I'd be doing that too!

I do not live in LONDON.

I live in a most vibrant but most chaotic (transport wise) city of MUMBAI in India. Everyday I travel about 65kms to reach my office from home. But I rarely report late for the work. I do start about half an hour early than the requisite time of departure. It ensures that I report most of the times before the office hour starts. Why not emulate this?

I wish you " reaching early or on the time " to the work. I know it's a stressful thing to reach late to the work.

None thankfully. I live outside of the zone system and only live a 10 mins walk from my work. I would hate to commute

None. I drive. I know it's not enviromentally friendly but nothing would make me get on Ken Livingstone's beloved transport system.

about twice in the last year.
I commute into Edinburgh from a park and ride site, the train is always on time and me and my train buddies always get to sit together.
Sickening, isn't it?
