Who was the female helicopter pilot that desmond thought was going to be penny?

so far thanks for the rundown, especially the catch-22 one, didnt realize that was the book. i guess u might be right because those 2 guys in that artic base did say they found something. anyways, thats also righte, someone is in the water too. could be penny or might not.

I don't think Penny is at the island at all. IF anything, she is located wherever Naomi took off from.
The female person is Naomi (credits) and I'm guessing she was with those on the ice station.

I thought it was penny too. But i guess i was wrong as well. All i know is that someone fell in to the water to last night. I think that the island has some kind of healing powers, that every time some one gets sick or they had something wrong with them - the island had healed them. Now back to Desmond - i wish to god i knew who the girl was. Because she sure knew Desmond. But it looks like Desmond sure didn't know her. It's getting close to the seasons finale and their is only five more episode for this season. It looks like where going to have to wait until next week to find out who she is. I think Ben might have send her there for some reason. Just like he sent Julianne in there for some other reason too. I don't know what his game is - but he has something in store for the entire islanders.

My guess is that she is part of the team hired by Penny to find Desmond, like the guys we saw at the end of season two.
She had a foreign language edition of Catch-22 in her backpack. The guys in the observation station were also non native english speakers.

hello.....again. well i work in a really big mail centre where there are 12 different areas and over 300 ppl working there at one time. although we can recognize ppl who work there we stll dont know everybody's name. and the girl i like even works in a different area to mine. so i dont want her to know i know her name since it might creep her out. besides she is such a short, cute, pretty, innocent looking girl, thats why i called her princess.
