We must have respect for the dead who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms and beliefs? do you agree? yes, the V.A. Tech killings were terrible and may God rest their souls but where is the same drama and out pouring of love and affection for our men and women in uniform?

Yes you are right, we should have a vigil for the 3000++ dead soldiers, and whilst we are at it (for the sake of decency) we should have an even bigger one for the 600,000++ innocent Iraqi civilians who have lost their lives.

What a great idea!!! When would you like to get started??
I think each and everyone of these brave souls should be seen by all who enjoy the freedoms and liberties that their blood purchased!
Let's create a web site that has all of them listed and honored!

Open your eyes, it's happening already. Even in the the small city of Albany,OR. Every friday people stand on the main drag with their signs. There were only twenty or so people. But that's how movments start isn't it? With one person, than another and another. Every day.

Well, you are right. But the problem is that you need to have a nightly vigil for 365 days in a year. Then you need to do it for the next several years. Are you prepared to do that?.

The soldiers who died in Iraq and Afghanistan must be given the same honor as those who died in Virginia Tech because they died while fighting for their people who must be free from terrorists.

Vigils are arranged by those who are grieving. They aren't arranged government propaganda. If you want a vigil, arrange one.
***
Stop writing to GWB and arrange one yourself. What's wrong with you? We've had a vigil arranged on our street so I KNOW it's not that hard. Stop griping, get off your petard and do it yourself.
